Our friends over at Red State are advocating a boycott of advertisers who pull their ads under pressure from Obama’s Green Jobs Czar Van Jones.
I believe a BUYcott would send a stronger message. Watch the Glen Beck show and send off an email to all that advertise on his show on FoxNews. Let them know you appreciate their pro-First Amendment stance and you will be buying their product in the name of Free Market economics. And then do so!
Look at the facts. The radical hate group ColorofChange.org is trying to organize a boycott of Beck advertisers. They claim to have 45,000 angry young black men prepared to boycott advertisers. This is a small group with minimal economic power. There are millions of conservatives that have LOTS of financial clout, disposable income and are politically motivated.
If all of these Beck fans called his advertisers and went out of their way to buy from them, it will be far more effective than a Boycott. If the advertisers don’t want to advertise on Beck’s show, so be it. Those that do will be rewarded.
It’s all about the money, and Beck’s demographic has it.
