The Tory Diary at ConservativeHome (that excellent web site that I look at often and you should too) speaks on the subject that Parliament will not allow: A referendum on Great Britain’s EU membership. Tim Montgomerie concluded:
I ‘came out‘ as someone who thinks Britain would be ‘better off out’ last May. When I read reports like that of yesterday from Open Europe – where the EU is taking regulatory control of the City of London – I can only hope that this new campaign is successful. We cannot leave the EU soon enough.
The referendum campaign is led by Dan Hannan (member of the EU Parliament and hero of mine) and Ruth Lea. Here’s the web site.
An EU referendum would be a blow against globalism and world government. The EU is not the friend of the UK, either. In a previous posting I discussed how the EU covets the UK permanent seat in the UN. Where’s the Young Turks when we need them. Time to strangle the EU monster in the crib.

I was disappointed when the UK decided to join the EU. The Brits had enough sense to keep the Pound, though which will make it easier to give the EU the boot.
There are ways the countries could cooperate without the quasi one world vision on display. Recessions show why unions such as the EU are a BAD idea. It is impossible to control your own destiny.
