Dancing Bears and a World on Fire

Today, many people are experiencing crucification, death by firing squad, rape, husbands murdered so that their wives can be sold into slavery, children being buried alive, beheadings, witnessing heads being placed on poles and pike, and bombs exploding in villages indiscriminately slaughtering those unwilling to accept utter madness and evil as their one true God.

Refugees starve to death.

Girls, no more than ten, are having unromantic wedding nights with their new barbarian husbands, after watching their fathers executed and their mothers defiled.

I am having trouble engaging in arguments with my fellow libertarians regarding whether or not “pot” should be legalized in Virginia or whether or not we should repeal Obamacare or try to find some common ground to make it somewhat less horrible down the road.

I am having trouble listening to Gillespie supporters trying to convince me that the minor differences between Ed and Warner are actually quite significant and will have an impact on my life.

Masood

I am struggling to get excited about a November election between Republicans I can’t stand and Democrats robbing me of my faith in my country. I attempted to read a news article about the Pope trying to solve some internal Vatican dilemma. I wasn’t moved. I guess, I just have trouble amusing myself watching a dancing bear, while the whole world burns around me.

Life on earth is a serious thing and it requires the attention of serious people. Look at your Congressmen, at your Senator, at your President, and at their advisors. Look at the dancing bears with their birthday hats fumbling and bumbling around in Europe. Look at the chaos on our Southern Border. Israel under siege. A half a dozen nations on the brink of chaotic economic collapse – and tell me, is anyone ready to start speaking out?

HAS ANYONE HEARD FROM THE CHURCH?

Has anyone heard from anyone?

Or have we quite simply resigned ourselves to madness? Ladies and gentlemen, now is a time for serious leaders, and I haven’t spoken to a single person over the last two weeks that believes our world is in good hands. I’m not asking any one person to have all the solutions, but I am distressed by the nihilistic vacuum before me.

Is there anyone that believes that there is anyone with a plan? Will any government act? Will any nation stand up? If not America, then who? Who shall we rally around?

Only at the circus do we gather around the dancing bears. This is civilization that hangs in the balance and we’re still worried about the most trivial things. Wake up America. History has awoken once again to teach you through tribulation the lessons you’ve deemed fit to forget.

I am “shouting from the roof tops”, Steven. And though it seems as though it falls on deaf ears, those of us who see the danger and sound the alarm, at the very least, know that we have been faithful to the admonition of the Watchmen, and that the blood of those who REFUSE to hear, to see, to understand,is NOT on our hands. Thank you for writing this.

Yes thank you!! Shared it on FB, which makes me feel a little bit better. If they choose not to read it or heed it, I can not help them. I am speaking out, but everyone thinks I am nuts and an alarmist. I think the churches are being put in a conundrum between what they can say and the fear that a plant from the IRS is in a pew ready to threaten their financial existence. We need serious discussions about the true mission of Islam!! We can’t keep our heads in the sand. The numbers are too great and the pace of the urgency is rapidly rising.
