Global National Chaos

This is what happens when you ignore reality, or worse attempt to contradict it. The media terms a governments’ willing rejection of material reality “political calculation”, as if calculating falsehood could ever be an intelligent aspect of dealing with truth.

Ladies and Gentlemen, when a nation as powerful as ours abandons reason for madness, madness is what the whole world suffers. Truly, look at what is happening in the United States and around the world. We have a disastrous refuge problem on our Southern Border spurned by President Obama and John Boehner, Harry Reid and Marco Rubio, and every other politician talking about amnesty for kids. Who is showing up at our border? KIDS! In a rational world, this sort of mess is what we call “predictable”.

Iraq, Syria, and Libya are in perpetual turmoil, because our President has turned responsibility for stability and strategy over to the International Community. We are seeing responsible revolutions in the United Kingdom and India, and our government hasn’t done a thing to embrace these movements, support these leaders, and draw our countries closer together.

Our economy is anemic and we are allowing chaos to spread through oil rich nations. The inevitable result will be skyrocketing gasoline prices. Skyrocketing gasoline prices result in a reduction in disposable income. Disposable income is what grows the economy and it is those disposable dollars that advertisers go after. Chaos overseas also leads to unease here at home. A pessimistic national psychology has real time consequences on economic activity. In order to manufacture crisis here at home, the Obama EPA seems desperate to cripple our own energy industries. Whether this manufacturing of chaos is a result of intent or incompetence, our current course cannot continue much longer, before these “inconveniences” become catastrophes.

This type of chaos, this level of detachment from reality, this frightening addiction to ideology over reality will have globally reverberating consequences. We need rational leaders. We can no longer sit by while our governments and leaders ignore reality for political gain. Our politicians need to be called out every time they put politics ahead of facts. When a politician comes out and says that they support immigration reform for “kids”, we need to point to the Southern Border and say, “You are causing this! And we are holding you responsible”.

We are watching the world fall apart. We are seeing our own nation in decline. I’m not sure the response I’m seeing to recent events match the severity and seriousness of the events themselves. This makes me nervous.
