Holding Democrats Responsible for Failing to Deal With Tax Cuts

They fled town without a vote on extending the Bush Tax Cuts. The only possibility of relief from a massive tax hike will come by way of a special session after the election. This is shaping up to be a lame duck session of epic proportion. Some might even call it a sour grapes session as dozens of House members will undoubtedly be moving home after, in many cases, lengthy tenure feeding at the public trough.

Already there are hints that the lame duck session will be crammed with last chance legislation that Democrats will try to cram down America’s throats before they slip into minority status and the Pelosi gavel is mercifully silenced – forever.

The Democrats that lose the election in November will no longer be beholden to voters for their jobs, so those blaming “stupid” voters are likely to take out their loss on their employers. In the business world, it is customary and usual for a fired employee to receive two weeks pay in lieu of notice. And often, when the separation is voluntary, on the part of the employee, the employer turns down the 2 week notice offer out of a fear of mischief that the employee might ensue.

There is, unfortunately, no such custom in the House or Senate. So, the uber-liberal tendencies of some of the Democrats that have been held in check by the knowledge that voters will rebel if legislators actually voted their true beliefs, will be unbridled in a lame duck session, with absolutely no accountability to voters.

It is important in these last days leading up to the election that voters pin down their Congressmen, especially those who are down in the polls, on exactly what they plan to do in the lame duck session on the Bush Tax Cuts. Keep in mind that Progressives have no problem lying to the public to get their agenda passed, but after a stinging loss in the polls in November, most Progressives will begin planning a comeback. It is important to stick cameras in their faces and get them on video promising to continue the Bush Tax Cuts. Most will never admit they plan to raise taxes on everyone, many will only claim they support raising taxes for the rich. Only those in the deepest danger of defeat will promise to extend the tax cuts for all.

Please. Ask the question and capture the answers on tape. And keep the tapes for the next House election. Many of these Progressives are not finished destroying our country, and want another opportunity to Socialize America.
