MORE PROPAGANDA FROM ICLEI SPOKESMEN!

I cannot believe the propaganda ICLEI puts out.  Today’s outrage was found as a letter sent to a friendly columnist of the Roanoke Times, Dan Casey by Don Knapp, a staff person at ICLEI USA.  Knapp’s highlights:

Rather, we support a bottom-up movement of local governments like Roanoke County that are working to make their communities healthier and more resilient for current and future generations.

Is Knapp kidding?  Knapp also asserted ICLEI was not part of the UN.  Technically, he is right.  However, it clearly a part of the UN system, partnering with UN agencies like the United Nations Environmental Programme.  ICLEI is hardly a bottom-up organization.  Bottom-up implies grass roots action.  ICLEI was formed at the UN headquarters.  And Knapp poo-poohs Agenda 21:

The individual goals vary place to place, but the overall theme is the same: to create thriving, healthy communities not only for ourselves, but for our children and grandchildren. Nothing radical or un-American about that.

Please read this blog entry about how dangerous Agenda 21 is and how ICLEI is deep into it.  I won’t call the spokesmen for ICLEI liars but I will say this is one more example of the cunning propaganda it puts out that must be respectfully challenged.
