It looks like the Democrats went all in on Health Care Reform for nothing. White House aids say they see an extended period of unemployment. They don’t expect further job losses, however, and believe an average of 100,000 jobs per month will be created this year.
Problem is, these are all Federal Government jobs. Census jobs to be exact. The Wall Street Journal said:
The job market will receive a fleeting jolt next year [2010] when the U.S. Census Bureau hires more than one million workers for its 2010 count.
Temporary jobs. Then the job market faces over a million jobs lost at one time.
With the only jobs coming any time soon being Government jobs, more borrowing will bring higher taxation to an unemployed country when the bills come due.
The Democrats have wasted an entire year on a power grab and the country has gone to hell in a hand-basket as a result.
