TSA: Terrorist Support Administration

These new TSA screenings are the best case scenario for terrorists. Even better than successfully bringing down airplanes. The object of terrorism is not the direct effect it has on the poor souls whose lives are taken, it is the fear and disruption and economic impact these attempts have that is the desired result.

There is no doubt that the Obama Administration has allowed the terrorists to win. When you see video like the one below, it is not hard to see why Americans now believe the Obama Administration has capitulated to the terrorists and, ironically, made all Americans victims of  terror in their misguided attempt to keep us from being victimized.

And this is all totally unnecessary, which is the hardest part to take.

As I have said many times, the Israelis got it right. In our politically correct world, profiling has become a bad word. Yet we still profile. We simply leave out the racial and ethnic aspects of profiling,  which defies logic.

When we decide to use all available information in deciding who receives the highest levels of scrutiny, we will regain the freedoms lost. As long as the amateurish and Politically Correct Obama appointees continue to be in charge of our safety, logic will always take a back seat to liberalism.

And how strange it is that these same Obama supporters apologists, all of whom were positive that former President Bush’s wire taps were illegal now cheerfully support the intrusive and unnecessary groping. If this tactic was even discussed by the Bush Administration, these same people would be up in arms at the personal intrusion.

Shoving things down our throats has evolved into shoving hands down our pants.

How sad.

Personally, I don’t plan to fly again until these screenings return to some level of sanity. And I feel sorry for those who do not have this same luxury. So, in my case, the terrorists have won. But it would not have been possible without the boneheaded reactive response by the TSA.

In the days after 9/11, I was back in the air the first day planes were allowed to return to the skies. Security was more intrusive, but only marginally so.

More job losses and the demise of the airline industry hang in the balance, taking a back seat to political correctness.

The TSA has played the cards the terrorists hoped they would play. And this positive reinforcement to terrorists will only encourage more of the same.

And we are actually less safe because of the TSA’s encouragement of terror. These people will simply find more ways to encourage us to give up our liberty, and Obama is only too happy to oblige.
