Most of Tim Kaine’s money comes from out of state groups and individuals while the majority of George Allen’s donations have been from in state sources.
Election filings show that 55% of Tim Kaine’s money is from outside Virginia while Allen has only taken in 34% from out of Virginia sources.
while he was Governor of Virginia, Tim Kaine earned the nickname “The Absentee Governor” for his frequent trips on behalf of Barack Obama supporting the Presidents war on Oil and Coal, Takeover of Health Care and bid union interests.
I guess we now know that Kaine was also tooling around looking for favors from these outsiders to support his run for the US Senate.
After leaving Virginia with a ton of debt to clean up, it is pretty clear Kaine was more interested in filling his own campaign coffers than the financial plight of Virginians.
There is nothing illegal about out of state contributions, but when the majority of a politician’s money comes from out of state, clearly the candidate is not putting Virginia first.
