Democrats, those self proclaimed “protectors of the environment” who want to scrap anything carbon with no regard to what it costs have decided now that old technology with a carbon footprint larger than the Gulf oil spill must be saved in favor of new technology with almost no carbon footprint. So important is this old technology to the Democrats that they want to levy a brutal and regressive tax on the new, clean technology to subsidize the older carbon based technology.
