The bile is rising up in my gut as this has been one of the most horrific weeks in American history.   Sure, we’ve faced attacks and wars and death and other unspeakable attacks on America, but NEVER BEFORE have the American people been assaulted on so many fronts from WITHIN.  Our Government is accelerating its attack on her own people in a Cloward-Piven, overwhelm the system, frenzy that makes this week historical. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. In a post earlier today,we displayed a picture of President Obama bowing to the Emperor of Japan. It is, indeed, a sad day when the symbolic head of the United States bows to foreign leaders. The message is clear: America bows to you.

The symbolic shame from the event aside, I feel a bit of sorrow and anger for my Black friends. I honestly cannot name even one that would bow to anyone. The sad chapter in American history that saw their ancestors enslaved are lessons that are not easily forgotten, nor should they ever be forgotten.
