The Council Has Spoken!! This Week’s Watcher’s Council Results

The Council has spoken, the votes have been cast, and the results are in for this week’s Watcher’s Council match up. The president’s mask is off, and it didn’t take long did it? This week’s winner, Joshuapundit’s The Hagel And Brennan Nominations And What They Tell Us about Obama is my view of what President [...]

MY THOUGHTS on the PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION!

I think as follows: Romney/Ryan 347 and Obama/Biden 191 Battleground states: Romney will win:  Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Florida, NC, Virginia, Wisconsin, Minnesota (because of the gay marriage initiative and George Will said the same thing), Iowa, Maine district two and Colorado. Obama will carry Michigan and Nevada. BUT I also think that Romney/Ryan will [...]

Zogby Poll: Ryan Gives Romney Big Push In Swing States, Independents. Now a Dead Heat.

While the Democrats feverishly work to make up stuff about Paul Ryan, most do not believe their over-hyped ”sky is falling” screams. They have gone to the well far too often to cry wolf – or race card as suits their needs. But the Ryan pick by Mitt Roment has already closed the race to dead even in [...]

Tim Kaine ADMITS Raising Taxes on the Wealthy is a Bad Idea!

After inheriting a surplus of $1.5 Billion when he became Governor of Virginia and squandering that nest egg into a $4.5 Billion Dollar Shortfall, Tim Kaine has proved that Tim Kaine-sian economics simply do not work. Note to the Kaine Supporters: Tossing out a drive-by budget that massively raised taxes on Virginians to fix his budget [...]

GREAT ARTICLE about GOVERNOR BOBBY JINDAL here! JINDAL WOULD make a GREAT VICE PRESIDENT!

Here is a very favorable article on Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal.  A few highlights: Members of the Louisiana press corps have learned over the years to ask the governor multiple questions at once, as the only way to avoid spending the better part of a press conference listening to his take on every nuance of [...]

MARCO RUBIO’S TERRIBLE SPEECH on FOREIGN POLICY!

I like Senator Marco Rubio.  He’s a rising star in the GOP.  And Senator Rubio is still better than either President Obama or VP Biden.  But his speech on foreign policy was terrible.  It could have been written by Senator Lindsey Graham.  That is no compliment. Here’s the text and some highlights, or maybe lowlights: [...]

Obama’s Taxes and Regulations Have Killed Even Green Jobs – and His Reelection

For all the left wing talk about green jobs and technology, and the billions and billions “invested” in the government sanctioned companies, how ironic it is that this will be the reason that President Obama is retired after one term. It has been easy for the greenie-weenies to scam Obama. He is willing, first and [...]

Obama Approval at 39% in New Gallup Poll

This is significant. President Obama has now dropped below 39% in the latest Gallup poll. As the Independent voters abandon him in droves, the Liberals were not far behind. And for the Progressives, the once promising career has faded into a ghost image on some long forgotten teleprompter. As the Republicans took center stage the [...]

Tax Increases ‘Most Important To Us Democrats’

‘The Talks Frayed Over Democrats’ Insistence That Tax Increases … Be Part Of The Final Deal’ SENATE DEM MESSAGE MAN: ‘Tax — You Know, Revenue Increases’   “Baucus made clear that the talks frayed over Democrats’ insistence that tax increases of some sort be part of the final deal.” (“Baucus: Revenues In Debt Limit Deal [...]

Hot Dog Guy certain to earn Olbermann’s “Wurst Person in the World”

When pressed by Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert to give some credit to former President George W. Bush, Vice President Biden actually was very gracious in his praise of Dubya’s love and support for the troops. And yes.  They did disagree on policy.  Bush 43 wanted VICTORY.  O’Biden wanted to divide up the territory and split.  And although I appreciate the sentiment, I recognize this device as the new talking point of the Democrats. Bush is to be admired for his love of the troops but he is to receive no credit for the successes that his policy brought to fruition.   Bush put his reputation and popularity on the line to promote this policy, one which the Democrats collectively demonized as part of their strategy to gain control of government, but a policy they are now emulating and reaping the benefits from. Olby must be fuming. But I’ll replay the grovelling video over and

THE REAL ISSUE BEHIND THE STEELE CONTROVERSY: SHALL THE GOP GO NON-INTERVENTIONIST?

I want to thank Chris Stirewalt for his wise article in the DC Examiner (courtesy of RCP).  I want to reserve comment on whether Michael Steele should be fired or not; that’s up to the Republican National Committee.  However, Stirewalt raises several crucial issues.  First, we have the fact that 9/11 did start the conflict in [...]

Economists Warn Obamanomics Could Result in a Depression

The Stimulus is a failure, despite what President Obama and Vice President Biden are saying. Obama said if we pass the stimulus, the unemployment rate will remain below 8%. We at nearly 10%. The real unemployment rate is at 16%. We are still losing jobs faster than we are creating them.

Biden Visits Son In Iraq On Taxpayer's Dime

Strange how the “main stream media” is reporting the fact that Vice President is visiting soldiers in Iraq, but fail to mention he is visiting his son. Even the White House has failed to mention this fact. I wonder if the government picked up the tab for any other Dads to visit their kids on foreign soil? Thanks, FoxNews for not hiding the real reason for the trip.
