I think as follows: Romney/Ryan 347 and Obama/Biden 191 Battleground states: Romney will win: Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Florida, NC, Virginia, Wisconsin, Minnesota (because of the gay marriage initiative and George Will said the same thing), Iowa, Maine district two and Colorado. Obama will carry Michigan and Nevada. BUT I also think that Romney/Ryan will [...]

Back during the 2009 Virginia Statewide elections, a Supreme Court case, Melendez-Diez, caused drug and drunk driving cases to be tossed out by the state. Democrat Steve Shannon, running against Ken Cuccinelli for the Virginia Attorney General position called the Special Session a “stunt” and declared it a total waste of taxpayer money, as it [...]

If you missed the big speech President Obama has been promising to deliver on jobs, let me give you the short version: Tax, tax tax. Spend, spend, spend. Tax the rich, hire more teachers, build roads and extend unemployment benefits. Oh, and if you have any ideas like smaller government or less government spending, he [...]

The Hill reported on Saturday, “Days after Democrats received a self-described ‘shellacking’ at the polls, President Obama called for an end to campaigning and an embrace of compromise. But he signaled no willingness to bend on the first challenge likely to face him from a Republican House as he advocated the permanent extension of Bush-era [...]

Wow! This is great news. The Senate Republicans AND Democrats have tied President Obama’s hands as far as making any more of his horrible “emergency” appointments during the recess. More devastation was in store for Americans as Obama was sure to make his now customary and sneaky appointments in this manner as soon as Congress [...]

Yesterday Obama was on the stump campaigning in Atlanta. He went on about how the Republicans haven’t proposed any new ideas. At one point in his speech he abandoned the teleprompter to deliver his lame comedy routine about the car going into the ditch and now that he and his liberal congress have managed to get back on the pavement, this is no time to turn the “keys” back to the Republicans. I happened to be listening to this on the radio as Obama clumsily delivered his monologue, in my minds eye, I pictured him not behind the Presidential Seal on the podium but in front of the red brick wall at the improv on open mic night. Anyway, the jokester in chief went on to add that when you want to go forward you put the transmission in D and when you want to go backward you put it in R (at this point the drones roar with laughter). Well the efforts put forth to get out of the…

Recently, it seems that Democrat Tom Shields who is challenging Delegate John O’Bannon has been looking into Dr. O’Bannon’s voting record. While we can’t do the same for Tom Shields, there is an interesting tool available online for college students that allows you to rate your professor. It gives you the chance to grade your teacher.
