A 10 year old girl in New Hampshire was ordered by the courts to discontinue her home schooling and attend a government run public school.
The child’s parents divorced in 1999 shortly after her birth and she has been home schooled since first grade. The child attends supplemental classes at public school as well as extra curricular activities. She is described as “well liked, social and interactive with her peers, academically promising and intellectually at or superior to grade level”.
So what’s the problem?
