Nigel Farage, chairman of UKIP, was quoted as comparing the UK/EU relationship to abusive domestic partners: Revelations today that each British household last year paid £300 for the right to remain in the EU show how disjointed our relationship with the EU has become said UKIP leader Nigel Farage. He said, “Our relationship with the [...]

Apparently, Virginian’s have come to their senses. According to a new Quinnipiac University Poll 54% of Virginians disapprove of the job President Obama is doing. It is about time! With the economy getting worse and worse on a daily basis, how anyone could believe that Obama is not in so far over his head he [...]

Oh dear. Is Mike Castle joining the ‘I’m ignoring the will of the people because I’m so indispensable to my State’ gang? What part of ‘NO THANKS’ don’t Castle and MeeeeeerCOWskee understand? We’re done with RINOs selling us out at posh cocktail parties inside the Beltway. Take your medicine. The fact that Castle is even considering a write-in campaign automatically disqualifies him as a Statesman. Your constituency has spoken, sir. Kindly step aside. Same goes with the shrew from the land of Igloos. Meanwhile, Saturday Night Live continues its role as operatives for the Democrat Party with this unfunny skit regarding Christine O’Donnell. They convinced America that Palin said she could see Russia from her house, now they’re on to their next assignment, painting the Delaware Senate candidate as even more peculiar than the slip and fall media does on a daily basis. Yes. Flying off on a broom was oh so clever, wasn’t it? I’m waiting for next week when they pillory her opponent for being a self proclaimed Marxist.

There were a couple of interesting speeches today at the United Nations. Barack Obama gave a well written speech (congrats to whomever wrote it) and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave his usual impassioned speech. It is no surprise that the media is focused on the venom spewed by the Iranian, as if this were something [...]

Well, this is a truly humbling honor. As the newest member of the Watcher of Weasels Council, I somehow managed to write this week’s winning member post, and also selected the winning non-council post. I say humbling because I read the posts these top notch writers produce on a daily basis. They are an amazing [...]

Mr President,
I have been thinking about how I can do something for you, especially since you have had it so rough lately, what with the oil spill, illegal immigration issues, lying to the people…..things of that nature….so have decided,I am going to do you a HUGE favour.
My name is Toni Hunton, and I am a Legal Permanent resident of this once great nation, but I think that perhaps the best thing I can do for you right now,is give up my status, and let me explain why am willing to make this sacrifice, that I have more than earned.
There are so many “illegal” aliens coming here on a daily basis, that want what I have,I figure…they can have it.

It is often said by both supporters and detractors that President Barack Obama is intelligent, smart, well educated, and even cerebral. However, President Obama is never described as wise. Wisdom is a special quality reserved for a few rare individuals. And wisdom is the most important characteristic which distinguishes ordinary leaders from extraordinary leaders.
Obama’s wisdom deficit is not necessarily a flaw or defect in his character. It is simply a quality that does not yet exist within the man. The old adage “with age comes wisdom” hints that wisdom takes time to acquire, but not all people become wise.

A Virginia Right! Exclusive video. Attorney General Cuccinelli said: “No one ought to be surprised. We were pretty clear last year when we were running that we were going to challenge the Federal Government every time it overstepped it’s boundaries. And that’s exactly what we’re doing. Nothing more and nothing less. Anybody that paid attention [...]

I ran across this chilling post. With talk of violence and increasingly hostile atmosphere in America, talk like this can only lead to more violence.
Who made the following statement?
“They’re worse than the brown shirts and the communist element and also the night riders and the vigilantes. They’re the worst type of people that we harbor in America. I think that we’re up against the strongest, well-trained, militant, revolutionary group that has ever assembled in America.”

I usually do not watch the Academy Awards or other award shows because someone stands up and blames George W. Bush or America for the world’s woes or praises Al Gore for his work on global warming or uses bad language. Why have that temptation to anger? But Sunday’s show was astounding; I almost wished [...]

“Affordable health insurance”. “America needs deserves affordable health insurance”.
We hear that on a daily basis. Health Insurance is too expensive. OK. I’ll buy that.
What I have not heard is what you consider affordable.
A family of four with two college kids and 40-something or 50-something parents with “normal” age related maladies that now pays and unaffordable $1,000 per month can expect to pay… what under the ObamaCare plan?
