Odd thing. The Mainstream Media noticed that Obama’s approval ratings went up into positive numbers for the first time since June when they hit 47% approve and just 45% disapproved. Today, Gallup posted their numbers at a less favorable margin for Obama. Seems his approval has dropped back to 41% and the disapproval is back [...]

As Newt Gingrich rises in the Republican Primary polls in state after state, so too does he rise in national polls. A new Rasmussen Poll has Gingrich leading Barack Obama 45% – 43%. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters finds Gingrich attracting 45% of the vote while President Obama earns support [...]

Paul Simon’s “Slip Slidin’ Away” is replacing Fleetwood Mac’s “Don’t Stop (Thinkin’ about Tomorrow)” in the Appropriate Theme Song category. The gloss and sheen has worn off of the Gold Plated Presidential Candidate as the reality of Barack Obama’s clueless administration sets in with American voters. The “Generic” Republican Candidate has been replaced by [...]

This is the biggest swing I have seen in the daily Gallup poll. President Obama’s Approval dropped 4 points and his disapproval jumped 5 – in one day. He now stands at 45% Approve and 48% Disapprove. A good part of this drop has to be the economy. But more than that, this marks the [...]

On the heels of a May jobs report showing “anemic” growth and higher unemployment, Gallup writes today, “[H]iring remains seven to eight points below early 2008. That is, current job creation has not returned to its levels of nearly 3 ½ years ago, when the recession got underway. On an absolute basis, job creation in [...]

AFP VP Policy Phil Kerpen issued the following statement on the FCC’s expected network neutrality order: “The FCC has fittingly chosen the darkest day in 372 years to impose potentially devastating regulations on the up-to-now free-market Internet. As the moon was eclipsed earlier today, Congress and the American people will be eclipsed by this regulatory [...]

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell said last night, “Americans have been speaking out for two years to cut wasteful Washington spending, reduce the size and scope of the federal bureaucracy, and help create sustainable, private-sector jobs. While Democrats in Washington too often acted as if they didn’t hear the message, tonight the voters ensured their [...]

With businesses afraid to hire due to the unpredictable nature of his administration, Barack Obama’s poll numbers have hit their lowest point to date across all of the major polls. He has been abandoned by just about every group and demographic, leaving only the hard core Democratic base and African-American voters standing by their man. [...]

Vice President Joe Biden and the Obama administration rolled out their “Recovery Summer” tour to much fanfare last month, but The Washington Post writes today, “In a series of polls, the public has expressed deep skepticism about the economic direction Obama began taking in early 2009. A clear majority now say they disapprove of his [...]

The current Gallup poll shows President Obama’s approval rating at 46%, tied with his disapproval rating. But the telling part of the poll is the jump in disapproval. The poll shows a drop in approval from the previous day of 3% and a rise in the disapproval of 2%.
Over at Rasmussen, the same phenomenon was observed with a drop in approval of 2% and an increase in disapproval of the same amount. Now only 45% approve of Obama while 54% disapprove.
Rasmussen also measures the degree of approval and disapproval providing an index of those that strongly approve to those that strongly disapprove. This index stands at -17 with only 27% strongly approving and 44% strongly disapproving. The significance of this data is a gage of the solid support for or against Obama’s job approval.

That giant sucking sound we heard yesterday was the policies of President Obama sucking the Dow down below 10,000 for the first time in over three months. And jobs. And National Security. And Obama’s poll numbers. A new Marist Poll shows the lowest numbers to date for the Narcissist-in-Chief.

Rasmussen reports yet another low water mark for President Obama shatters his previous record low (from yesterday).
The president’s approval index is -21. That number is the difference in the number of respondents saying they Strongly Approve of the president’s job, and those who Strongly Disapprove of Obama’s performance. And for the first time, Obama’s Strongly Disapprove rating has reached 46%. Add to that the 10% that simply disapprove and the Rasmussen poll shows a total disapproval of 56% – another record for Obama.
Only 25% strongly approve of Obama’s performance, 2% better than his all time low of 23% set last week. Those that simply approve of Obama’s job totaled 19% for a total approval of just 44% which matches his previous low mark also set last week.
So Obama has reached a new low in overall approval of -12% (44% approve and 56% disapprove).
These numbers are, perhaps, the strongest indication of the impact of the Health Care bills on the next elections. While the bills have not even passed and made their way through the Conference Committee, the voters are showing their displeasure at these bills

Public Policy Polling released a poll last week that, among other things, showed Former Virginia Senator and Governor George Allen has a solid 50% approval rating. What’s more, the poll shows that 31% of respondents would definitely vote for him and 31% would consider voting for him. In the 2006 elections, Democrat Jim Webb defeated Senator George Allen by a very narrow margin. However, Webb’s failure to hold Town Hall meetings, and refusals to join in the discussion have left many with the feeling they made a mistake. Webb’s approval rating has dipped to 47%, but more telling, his disapproval is at 40%.

According to the latest Rasmussen Poll, 42% of Americans now strongly disapprove of President Obama’s performance. The poll also shows 47% overall approval to 52% overall disapproval, which reflects Obama’s dismal performance as President.
Obama, who has proven to be a dividing force in America, continues to mount unsustainable debt on the country with most of the treasury raids seen as payback to left wing groups like Acorn and union thugs.

For the first time since becoming president, Obama’s approval rating comes in below 50% at 49% according to the latest Rasmussen polls. His disapproval rating has risen to 51%. One of the main factors is the president’s push for nationalized health care. As details emerge, more and more people realize that the president is being less than open and honest with the American public. HE admitted to a group of liberal bloggers that he was not familiar with key provisions of the bill.
