National Journal has must-read story today titled, “The Secret Republican Plan to Repeal ‘Obamacare’ And why the fight is far from over.” National Journal’s Chris Frates writes, “A few minutes after the Supreme Court issued its landmark decision upholding President Obama’s health care law last summer, a senior adviser to Mitch McConnell walked into [...]

As I mentioned yesterday, my Congressman Eric Cantor and his War on Conservatives has convinced me that all is lost on the National Front with the Republican Party. As Speaker John Boehner and Cantor, two Progressives pretending to be Republicans purge Conservatives from every committee, the result is not only a total and complete move away [...]

In looking through the polls, I always check the math. Believe it or not, there are sometimes errors in simple addition as well as more complex issues. The latest Politico poll writeup states: DENVER— With just two days to go until Election Day, Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama are tied in the race for [...]

You hear the left whine every day. “People have the right to know who is giving money to political PAC’s”. But when does this supposed “right to know” trump the donor’s right to privacy? That’s actually a pretty simple question to answer. If the impetus behind the disclosure of the names and addresses of donors would [...]

Like everyone else on the right, I detest this ruling and truly hoped that it had gone the other way. But in the back of my mind, when the government made the argument that the mandate was a tax, I thought that was something worth worrying about. Of course, the argument during the legislative process [...]

Many know but others do not know that Cong. Paul actually won one county in the Iowa caucuses: Jefferson County. Here’s a great article from the Daily Paul in regard to how his people did it. Many good ideas. How can Paul win Virginia? Through grass roots efforts; I’d get the 10,000 signatures at the [...]

RICHMOND – The U.S. Senate today failed in a formal attempt to ban earmarks through fiscal year 2013. Virginia Senator Mark Warner voted in favor of addressing the proposal, but Senator Jim Webb did not. Americans for Prosperity’s Virginia State Director Ben Marchi today issued the following statement: “Evidently, too many members of the United [...]

Today, America has an opportunity to send a clear message to our political leaders. You remember them, right? The group that largely ignored the American Public’s wishes and rammed ObamaCare and stimulus packages and more debt than we can possibly repay down our throats? The sanctimonious, pompous and arrogant politicians who believed themselves both smarter [...]

It’s not Friday without a ridiculous column in the New York Times by Nobel Economics Laureate Paul Krugman. Many times I want to respond. But I don’t really know anything about economics (makes me perfect for elected office, right?); when I took it in college I was stymied by the terms and concepts. They talked [...]

This lady is pretty gutsy for having the courage to criticize the President to his face. This Obama voter is tired of defending this President and his policies. If only she had been paying attention to the warning signs PRIOR to voting. This is the kind of person who won’t necessarily flip to the other side of the aisle, but it’s good enough for her to stay home on election day. Incidentally, didn’t this woman get the great news? The recession ended in June 2009 according to the National Bureau of Economic Research. Happy Days are Here Again!

How quickly things change. Just over a week ago, we wrote: As of today, August 22, 2010 Republicans could pick up a maximum of 12 seats in the US Senate giving them a total of 53 seats. And not one seat more. Well, we also said: With two and a half months remaining before election [...]

Real Clear Politics keeps a running average every day on the polls around the country concerning, among other things, presidential job approval.
Many of these query only “Adults” who take the poll, and these tend to be favorable to Obama. Some of the polls only report registered voters, which trend generally less favorable towards Obama. Rasmussen is generally the only poll comprised of Likely Voters, which consistently score Obama lower than the other samples.
