Artur Davis is a former Democratic Congressman who aspired to be the first African-American Governor of Alabama. Alas, he lost. (It is believed that Alabama, by the way, DID elect the first statewide African-American candidate in the USA if you do not count the rigged Reconstruction elections – this justice of the state supreme court. Senator John McCain has endorsed Mitt Romney for President. Liberal losers stick together. If anyone was confused enough to wonder if maybe, just maybe Romney was now a Conservative, this endorsement should serve to remove all doubt. Mitt is a true New England RINO big government liberal. McCain’s kind of guy. And just like McCain [...]

Once upon a time, when Reagan was ending a most successful Presidency, there was a political activist who had the itch for running for office. This activist did not realize how sexy local government is and wanted to run for House of Delegates or state Senate. Elwood Earl “Sandy” Sanders, Jr., was an attorney in [...]

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli raised some eyebrows with the announcement that he would run for Governor in 2013. Most in Virginia Republican circles were familiar with the “deal” made between then Attorney General Bob McDonnell and then (and still) Lt. Governor Bill Bolling. Or most had at least heard the rumor. In order to [...]

The president “got very agitated” and said, “Don’t call my bluff; I am going to the American people,” said Cantor, a Virginia Republican. Obama “shoved back from the table” and left, Cantor said. (NewsMax.) Reportedly, what precipitated this 2-year-old like temper tantrum was Eric Cantor’s effort to let Obama know what the House will pass. [...]

`Unless people like me show the American people that we’re willing to follow through on small or even symbolic things, we risk losing them on our broader efforts to cut spending and rein in government. I am going to give you some straight dope. From the gut. It’s about November and what’s at stake. You may live in an area where you have to vote Democrat to have any say. There are still lots of areas like that all over Texas and all over the otherwise conservative South and up into Virginia. And because of that, you may as a natural conservative have a view of the Democrats locally or in your district that’s somewhat benign. Sure, Obama and Pelosi are awful, but my local guy, he ain’t so bad. That’s what you may tell yourself. But. If your legislative goals and priorities include a business-friendly economic environment, clean elections, educational choice, excellence in public education, fixing the financial problems at big state agencies…

What will General McCrystal do next? Perhaps take off a few months, relax, get acquainted with the family. A little yard work, then hit the talk shows and right wing radio waves. Perhaps. Once again the people of the United States have allowed the Socialistic and Communistic Progressives to grab power in the country, and once again they have really made a mess of things.
The good news from the recent elections is that the only way to win elective office now is to run as far away from Obama, Pelosi and Reid as possible.

Things are looking pretty good for the GOP and pretty bleak for Democrats.
House Republicans could win 100 or more seats in this fall’s elections, House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) said Friday.
Boehner said he believes there is no seat that the GOP cannot win during this election cycle, judging by Sen. Scott Brown’s (R) improbable win in January’s special election in Massachusetts.
