I get the daily mailings from the Humble Libertarian, Wesley Messamore, and I saw that he was on the radio tonight on Ron Paul radio’s special money bomb night. (BTW, don’t forget to give if you can!) I heard his first hour tonight. Wesley was great! I really enjoyed his speaker, Doug Wead, the Presidential [...]

One of my Young Turks, MP Steve Baker, who I blogged could be a great member of UKIP, came out in support of a EU referendum: Mr Baker has pledged his backing to a referendum on the European Union. * * * Mr Baker said it was about ‘self determination’. People should be given a [...]

Well, that didn’t take long. As the media exposed Tim Kaine’s role in “organizing” protests around the country, the Kaine instigated violence has begun. A friend has now fallen victim to the union thugs. I have come to know Tabitha Hale over the past year or more in her capacity as a FreedomWorks employee who [...]

The American Spectator ran an excellent piece on Virginia’s Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli. They have captured the inspiring efforts of Cuccinelli to defend our constitution not just for Virginia but for all of America. The freedom of the American people and the creation of our country was due to the efforts Virginians like Madison, Jefferson, Patrick Henry, George Mason and others. The American people are fortunate that at this point in time another Virginian, Ken Cuccinelli, stands between the overreaching oppression of the federal government and them. Last Sunday, days before 20 other states went to federal court to oppose the new health reform law Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli – who had already …

Received this email a minute ago. I wholeheartedly agree with statement. Greetings Patriot! My experiences in Iraq go back to 1991 with Operations Desert Shield/Storm as a young Army Captain. I returned to Iraq in 2003 as a combat Battalion Commander for Operation Iraqi Freedom. It is a bittersweet moment for me to watch our Commander-in-Chief declare an end to Operation Iraqi Freedom and further combat operations. I have studied and been a part of half-measured warfare, and have seen its residual effects. My fear is that the heroic efforts of my fellow Warriors will fall to this lesson of history. Ending combat operations is not just a convenient political decision. As Carl von Clausewitz stated, “War is the imposition of one’s will upon another.” I found President Obama’s address on Iraq unnecessary, confusing, conciliatory, and lacking focus. There was never a definitive outline of strategic objectives to defeat the global conflagration against the radical Islamic theocratic-political ideology and non-state, non-uniformed belligerents against which we combat. Furthermore, the reference to the …

Obama to address the nation about withdrawing American combat troops from Iraq. President Obama has scheduled his second oval office address to let the American people know that he can now officially check off another campaign promise. In February Barack’s right hand man Joe Biden prepared us for this day; “I am very optimistic about — about Iraq. I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration. You’re going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer. You’re going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government.” Let me be clear about this, this is a great achievement but I disagree with the attribution. Nearly every morning I begin my day with a brisk walk through our neighborhood. It is a fairly large and there are…

There’s something brewing that requires your attention. In response to our rogue federal government usurping the Constitutional role of the states, there are serious discussions under way concerning the assembly of a Constitutional Convention to promote the ‘State Repeal Power Amendment’ to the Constitution. What is being proposed is that any law, rule, regulation, tax, duty, impost or excise created by the federal government can be overturned by passing identical legislation nullifying any law by 2/3rds of the state legislatures. Does America still have Statesmen or simply Politicians? This is an uphill struggle, as are all Amendments to the Constitution, but it may be our last shot at protecting the framers’ concept of Federalism, where the states have their own sovereignty and are able to pass their own laws. Right now, the …

Who is racist? TEA Party? Give me a break. This video exposes the worst kind of black hatred imaginable. This black woman refused to help a farmer because he was white! Perez Hilton, the Left wing Progressive Democrat Blogger posted a picture of Miley Cyrus that is guaranteed to break her famous Dad Billy Ray Cyrus’ Achy Breaky Hearty.
Seems daughter Miley, a 17 year old star in her own right, stepped out of a vehicle in a dress, apparently without underwear. It is all the rage, to be sure. But Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears are adults. Miley is just a kid.
Pervert Perez has begun to lose advertisers already. Hopefully he will soon lose his freedom and be in a place he truly belongs.

I am a Veteran of the United States Navy, and I am proud of my service. While I was fortunate enough to be a sailor during peace time, many of my fellow sailors were involved in fighting to defend this country both before and after my service. While I was prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice, I was never called upon to do so.

The weather is different, but the message is the same. We are at a crossroads. Either embrace Obama’s socialism or return to the Constitution. Obama wants to build a Socialist utopia.
We are here because we have strong conservative and American values.
America was built on the backs of it’s citizens, not on the back of government.
We will not let Obama, Pelosi and Reid destroy this country. We will fight for freedom and we will fight for liberty and we will prevail.

If you have not seen this short video of Congressman Perriello saying “If you don’t tie our hands, we will keep stealing”, spend the minute. It is well worth it.
This video has already been seen over 20,000 times, and I suspect far more than that, as the Youtube counters are never correct.
What is amazing is that this viral video was taken and produced by Audrey Welborn, who blogs at Welborn Freedom Watch.
Well, not really amazing to me. I have mentioned her blog before and read it often. In a day and age were true journalism is dead, it is good to see citizen journalists like Audrey Welborn bringing on the scoops!
