Pastor Michel Faulkner, former NJ Jet (we’ll forgive him for that) and VT Hokie football player, is the GOP candidate for the 15th Congressional District in NY. That happens to be the seat held by Cong. Charlie Rangel, long time Harlem representative who is under an ethical cloud. Faulkner would be a breach of fresh [...]

W. James Antle, III at the American Conservative has a intriguing article on what if the Tea Party turns anti-war. Antle features Rand Paul, the GOP candidate for the US Senate in Kentucky, and his clear non-interventionist position. Rand makes the point through budgetary and debt reasons: But what Rand Paul has done is make [...]

My recent series on the Young Turks of the Tory Party were well-read and introduced American readers to several rising stars in the Conservative Party. Today’s (August 15, 2009) Richmond Times-Dispatch cites one of its headlines as saying:
“Testimony May Slow Evidence Testing: Va. Forensic Examiner Subpoenas Triple After High Court’s Ruling.”
But the best part is this:
“Ken Cuccinelli, the GOP candidate for attorney general, deserves credit for being one of the first to draw attention to the consequences of Melendez-Diaz v. Massachusetts.”
It is great to see one so concerned about public safety. I encourage all those who are in public safety or have a loved one in public safety to consider Cuccinelli’s candidacy.
