This must be devastating news to Pelosi and Obama. They seemed so sure the Tea Party represented the far right fringe of the Republican Party. They really wanted them to be. They really needed them to be right wing bigots.
How horrible for them to find out that just under half of these people they insulted are Democrats and Independents.
