RON PAUL WAS EXCELLENT ON NPR’s TALK OF THE NATION!

Cong. Paul does so much better when he is interviewed by those who give him time to explain his positions.  The 30 to 90 second sound bite is difficult to explain the theory of liberty.  I find myself wondering:  Is it better to listen to the debate or catch up later?  I also find myself [...]

Americans Deserve Answers On Berwick’s Controversial Health Care Beliefs

In an editorial, The Wall Street Journal writes today, “Among Donald Berwick’s greatest rhetorical hits is this one: ‘any health-care funding plan that is just, equitable, civilized and humane must—must—redistribute wealth from the richer among us to the poorer and less fortunate.’ Count that as one more reason that President Obama made Dr. Berwick a [...]

Swing Districts Oppose Health Reform According To Independent Women’s Voice Poll

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she plans to bring health-care reform to a vote this week. Democratic leaders cite national polls that show support for individual provisions of the bill as a reason to pass this reform. Yet vulnerable politicians should be warned: Responses to questions about individual benefits, particularly when removed from a cost context, are different from those on the whole bill.

Voters in key congressional districts are clear in their opposition to what they have seen, read and heard on health-care reform. That’s one of the findings of a survey that will be released today by the Polling Company on behalf of Independent Women’s Voice. The survey consisted of 1,200 registered voters in 35 districts represented by members who could determine the outcome of the health-care debate. Twenty of those members voted for the House bill in November but now may be reconsidering. Fifteen voted against the bill but are under tremendous pressure to change their vote.

U.S. Senator Scott Brown Delivers Weekly Republican Address – Bashes Obama’s Bitter Health Push

“Hello, I’m United States Senator Scott Brown from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

“When the people of my state elected me in January, they sent more than a senator to Washington – they sent a message. Across party lines, the voters told politicians in Washington to get its priorities right.

“And from my travels and conversation with people throughout this country, they told me that they want their President and Congress to focus on creating jobs and reviving America’s economy. Instead, for more than a year now, we have seen a bitter, destructive, and endless drive to completely transform America’s health care system.

“In January of last year, unemployment hit 7.2 percent and our economy was hurting badly. But, early in President Obama’s term, he and the Democratic leadership of Congress made takeover of health care their first priority.

Senator McConnell on Obamacare: Americans Will Not Stand For It

“The American people have spoken loud and clear on the issue of health care reform: They overwhelmingly favor a plan that addresses our problems step by step. They want a plan that lowers the cost of health care without expanding the role of government, and without raising taxes or cutting Medicare. They want us to focus on cost.

Hey Democrats – Define Affordable Health Insurance!

“Affordable health insurance”. “America needs deserves affordable health insurance”.

We hear that on a daily basis. Health Insurance is too expensive. OK. I’ll buy that.

What I have not heard is what you consider affordable.

A family of four with two college kids and 40-something or 50-something parents with “normal” age related maladies that now pays and unaffordable $1,000 per month can expect to pay… what under the ObamaCare plan?

Democrats Have Lost Focus On HealthCare

Once upon a time, the Democrats promised the American people they would reform Health Care. The price of medical assistance has risen well beyond what is reasonable and affordable. Millions are not covered by insurance. Some by choice, and some by their financial circumstances.

But something happened.

Sarah Palin Warns Of Obama Death Panel

As more Americans delve into the disturbing details of the nationalized health care plan that the current administration is rushing through Congress, our collective jaw is dropping, and we’re saying not just no, but hell no!

The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.

White House Tells Dems Punch Back Twice As Hard Looking To Incite Violence

The recent moves by the White House are intended to increase violence and conflict at the town hall meetings in order to deny our first amendment rights and is a play right out of the Hugo Chavez playbook. If Obama and the Democrats intend to throw gasoline on a fire, the result may be hundreds of Kent State type situations all over our country. The measure of a leader is not what objectives he manages to push through, but about how he does it.

Obama and the Democrats have just issued marching orders to escalate peaceful protests into violence.
