A new Public Policy Polling (PPP) survey reveals Virginia US Senate Candidate George Allen is walking away with the Republican nomination. Last Saturday, an 87 year old woman suffered a severe beating during a robbery in her home. Lois Rosson, the victim, was described by her son as frail and about 90 pounds. He said she will probably lose sight in her left eye as a result of the beating.
It is impossible to hear stories like this and not feel both anger at the perpetrator and profound sorrow for the victim.

At the Powhatan Taxpayer’s Alliance Tea Party last Saturday, Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli opined that the large number of recent earthquakes around the world might be the result of the Founding Fathers turning over in their graves at the left’s assault on our Constitution.
