Hanover County is one of the safest suburban areas in the country, thanks in large part to effective law enforcement. Sheriff Stuart Cook has done an outstanding job for many years. His well earned retirement after a job well done will allow him to finally spend time with his family and pass the torch to [...]

Nathan Cox is both a friend and neighbor and a fellow believer in freedom. He risked life and limb serving in Iraq defending America’s freedom – which includes freedom of speech. The other day, Nathan was driving home from the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) area and passed a VCU police officer. What he did next [...]

I finally went to see The Grace Card and I can indeed recommend it to all my readers. As far as technical merit, I cannot judge a movie on technical merit. However, I did not see obvious flaws other than perhaps the hand held camera use and the credits were a bit blurry at the [...]

Well looky there, ACORN has its own little nut in the Texas House. The Texas Republicans peeled her bark in a press release today. Thibaut’s past is not unlike that of President Barack Obama; she too started out as a community organizer. And both did work for ACORN. Kristi even appeared at the State Capitol as a paid lobbyist for ACORN during the 2007 Legislative Session. ACORN activities have attracted the attention of law enforcement and prosecutors around the country, after they were exposed in a series of stings by a couple posing as a prostitute and a pimp, soliciting ACORN’s advice on how to operate their illegal enterprise without getting caught. Even the United States Congress condemned ACORN’s actions and cut off

Alleged traitor and the new darling of Code Pink and the other war protestors Bradley Manning is being held in Quantico, Va. pending possible trial on charges he leaked numerous diplomatic cables plus secret video of a 2007 U.S. helicopter attack on unarmed men in Baghdad. On Sunday the first ever Free Bradley Manning Rally was held in the Quantico town park just outside of the military installation of the same name. Since Cindy Sheehan retired this group has been looking for someone to energize their movement and they have latched on to this suspected dishonorable private. Being a veteran of many tea party rallies in Virginia and Washington D.C. I must say their effort was lacking in substance and energy. Just when it looked like the day might pass without incident the courageous members of the CNN crew got into a heated confrontation with law enforcement as seen at the end of this exclusive footage shot by our own P. Henry Saddlebur while in deep cover. Code Pink was not alone, there was also a counter protest at the park sponsored by the Washington chapter of FreeRepublic…

By now it should be pretty evident to all Virginians. The United Republican Ticket is seen as the best option for businesses and Law Enforcement. While Creigh Deeds is running around in Emperor’s New Clothes fashion pretending to have a transportation plan and spreading absolute lies about Bob McDonnell, Bob is traveling the state telling [...]

Are you thinking about visiting the cars.gov website to turn in your old clunker for up to $4,500 off on a new vehicle? You may want to think twice before visiting on your computer. By accepting the Privacy and Security agreement, you are granting the government to every file on your computer. And if you use Skype to talk over the internet, you are granting the government permission to listen in on your conversations and turn any information they find over to any agency they decide.

Republican Attorney General candidate Ken Cuccinelli has challenged Democratic challenger Steve Shannon to a series of 12 debates in order to help voters make up their minds about who they will vote for in November. Shannon initially was agreeable to debates until Cuccinelli actually put out the challenge.
