After making a really stupid statement and subsequently issuing an apology, Todd Akin took a pretty big hit in the polls. It seems that he has now started to recover and has regained the lead 45-41. The poll is here. For Pro-Lifers this is a good thing.

Monmouth University just released a poll that over-sampled Democrats 33% to 27% and shows Obama leading by only 1%. Rasmussen and Gallup are presently showing Romney leading by 1 and 2 points respectively.
