McDonnell – Deeds Fundraising Analyzed

Most of the blogs and media outlets are reporting that Democratic candidate for Governor Creigh Deeds outraised Republican candidate for Governor Bob McDonnell for the latest reporting period. And while that is technically true, a look at the donations tells a different tale.

Deeds raised $3,375,454.00 from May 28, 2009 through June 30, 2009 and McDonnell raised only $1,819,799.00, an advantage for Deeds of $1,555,655.00 for Deeds.
