Bishop E. W. Jackson, candidate for Lieutenant Governor, has put together a petition drive to implement what I called for in my blog post earlier this evening. That petition is here. Let’s saturate the governor’s office with petitions. I have already tonight emailed the Governor’s Chief of Staff. Let’s do it right away.

A person I admire very much who I know is a strong follower of Christ asked me today: Is Governor McDonnell a honorable man? Is he a believer [in Christ]? I answered (after a long pause) YES, I believe the governor is a honorable man and is a believer. I am very disappointed with the [...]

I get a lot of emails from patriots and tea party leaders and maybe a few wannabes, too. But I was surprised when I got sent a talking point from a leading tea party patriot with this in it: Quote Democrat Chap Petersen who voted against the bill: “a grotesque combination of tax cuts, tax [...]

It’s been interesting that in the course of this week, the one year anniversary of Democrats’ unpopular and expensive health care bill becoming law, we’ve seen supporters of the bill acknowledge some of its serious flaws. According to Politico, “Rep. Anthony Weiner [D-NY] said Wednesday he was looking into how a health law waiver [...]

On Monday President Barack Obama released his latest budget, another financial mess that adds to the national debt while raising taxes as well. Doctors have already started to refuse to take the paltry pittance from the Federal Government, and now the Drug Stores are cutting off the elderly in preparation for the changes in payments and losses that pharmacies will when the Health Care “Reform” is shoved down America’s throats.
This means that Walgreens will not have to raise the price of my prescriptions to subsidize the massive cuts Obama plans to force upon the elderly. Which means my premiums will not go up. We all need to shop for Doctor’s that refuse Medicare if we want to keep our premiums down.

It looks like the Democrats went all in on Health Care Reform for nothing. White House aids say they see an extended period of unemployment. They don’t expect further job losses, however, and believe an average of 100,000 jobs per month will be created this year.
Problem is, these are all Federal Government jobs. Census jobs to be exact. The Wall Street Journal said:
The job market will receive a fleeting jolt next year [2010] when the U.S. Census Bureau hires more than one million workers for its 2010 count.

My recent post Be Gone Obamacare. You Have No Power Here requires a bit of followup.
Obama and the progressive Socialists want the States to allow their citizens to decline to purchase Health Care.
Confused? Here is why that is a true statement.
Obama does not want these millions of uninsured people to buy insurance from private insurers. He is happy to see 35 states battle the Federal Government with legislation that he will never challenge.
The only reason the mandatory purchase section exists was to bribe the Insurance Companies. Give them several million additional healthy insured in their risk pool and they will do well. Pre-existing – no problem. Paying more to make up for the pittance doctors are paid by Medicare and Medicaid? Cool!
