Holy Week began last Sunday and the week was filled with harsh and cruel reminders. The Savior’s broken body and spilling blood will be lifted up on the cross so our eyes can focus on the splendid theater of God’s glory in the awful beauty and holy majesty of Christ crucified. But we watch the [...]

This is really getting old. Nobody gives a damn about Susan Rice’s race. The White House sent Rice out after the Benghazi Terrorist Massacre to spread the false narrative that some video had caused the whole thing. Race has nothing to do with is. Susan Rice is either a lackey or was completely ignorant of the facts and should [...]

The Council has spoken, the votes have been cast, and the results are in for this week’s Watcher’s Council match up. Even taking into consideration the normal high level of quality in both the Council and Non-Council entries, this was a tough call with some exceptional pieces to choose from, and the close vote tallies [...]

The first Presidential debate left voters scratching their heads. Mitt Romney was not the monster that the Obama folks had painted him to be. Actually, he was a pretty nice guy and didn’t seem out of touch and “in it for the rich people of the country”. What was even more stunning was the fact [...]

What about this Fox News report about the Bailout Boyz at UAWChrysler getting plastered during their lunch breaks , then returning to build World Class Automobiles for Barack Hussein Obama MmmMmmMmm in the afternoon? I immediately hearkened back to that classic Dead Kennedy’s tune, “Too Drunk to Jeep”. Or something like that. Parental warning. The video is not really about stealing a private sector automobile corporation and giving it to union deadbeats, but it’s close enough. In the world of Management = Labor, everything has become murky, at best. Is this more of that Five Fingered Bond that Chrysler keeps talking about? Honesty. Integrity. All that? Maybe it is unfair of me …

I think I just found where a little chunk of the Stimulus money went. I tallied up the campaign funds of the seats that the Obamacare Gang of 219 are trying to defend versus their opponents. Democrats: $238,122,981 Republicans: $72,562,610 That’s a more than 3 to 1 advantage. Now where would Democrats get a quarter of a billion dollars for these 219 races? Money comes from Unions to politicians, and politicians give our tax dollars to Unions. Of course, they’re too clever than to have a smoking quid pro quo, and they are all very devious and slippery, making sure these deals are impossible to trace, but that number is staggering. That’s over $1,000,000 per seat, 12 of which are unopposed and some that might as well be. Thanks for getting the big money out of politics, Senators McCain and Feingold.

Texas radio host and Truther Alex Jones is nuts. There’s just no other reasonable reaction to this recent clip of his radio show, in which he blames gayness on some bizarre government conspiracy. Really . Roll tape. Double reminder: Until being a Truther became a problem for her , GOP fringey candidate for gov Debra Medina was a welcome and frequent fellow traveler and guest on Alex Jones’ show . For a whole lot of reasons, it’s good that the Texas primary was months ago, and that Medina lost. Note to the programming folks at KLBJ radio in Austin : Can’t you do better than Alex Jones? Really?

This lady is pretty gutsy for having the courage to criticize the President to his face. This Obama voter is tired of defending this President and his policies. If only she had been paying attention to the warning signs PRIOR to voting. This is the kind of person who won’t necessarily flip to the other side of the aisle, but it’s good enough for her to stay home on election day. Incidentally, didn’t this woman get the great news? The recession ended in June 2009 according to the National Bureau of Economic Research. Happy Days are Here Again!

Over the last year or so, in between the brush wars of the 2009-2010 election cycle, I have kept an eye on the actions taken by Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina… and I have been impressed. What I have witnessed over this period is a that Jim DeMint is an unapologetic, dyed in the wool, Ronald Reagan conservative, even when its inconvenient. He has done whats right, even in the face of opposition from his own party. He has supported, through his Senate Conservative Fund , and personnel endorsements a host of CONSERVATIVE candidates for the US Senate, including, Marco Rubio…

Forbes magazine’s cover story “How Obama Thinks” by Dinesh D’Souza offers a brilliant explanation of the inexplicable behavior our 44th President. The strange policies, bizarre actions and general oddities have frustrated and befuddled Americans (both critics and supporters alike). D’Souza identifies the president’s Father and his anticolonial dream as the impetus for all that Obama does. The author is from India and his perspective and insight into the Asian and African idea of anticolonialism. Here is his description Anticolonialism is the doctrine that rich countries of the West got rich by invading, occupying and looting poor countries of Asia, Africa and South America. As one of Obama’s acknowledged intellectual influences, Frantz Fanon, wrote in The Wretched of the Earth , “The well-being and progress of Europe have been built up with the sweat and the dead bodies of Negroes, Arabs, Indians…

Mark Strama is a liberal Democrat, currently occupying the seat belonging to Texas state House District 50 . He’s known for his affinity for a certain Barack Obama , which probably helped him in 2008. But now…not so much. District 50 is mostly in liberal Travis County, but parts of it leak up into Williamson County, which is a red bulwark hard against Travis County’s blue dot. Most of Williamson is in District 52, which also elected a liberal to the House in 2008 – Dianna Maldonado. And a drive through Williamson shows that Maldonado knows she’s in for a serious fight against the GOP nominee, Larry Gonzales . Maldonado’s signs are everywhere, curiously omitting any mention of the radical leftists who support her candidacy. But until recently there weren’t any Strama signs anywhere in the sliver of Williamson County that’s in his district. That changed about a week ago. Now, on a drive through the area, you can’t help but notice that…

The 2010 edition of the 9-12 Rally in DC was, at a distance, very similar to the 2009 version; patriots attended from all across the nation, the wore colorful clothing and carried very witty signs. The numbers didn’t quite match last year but given many who might have attended were just in DC on 8-28 at Glenn Becks Restoring Honor Rally, the turnout was impressive. What struck me most was the notable difference between ’09 and ’10. In 2009 the throngs of concerned citizens marched to our capital to let their elected officials know that they were not happy with the fiscal irresponsibility of the Federal government, their dissatisfaction with the stimulus bill and their opposition to the proposed Obamacare bill, Cap & Trade and Card Check. Today …

When pressed by Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert to give some credit to former President George W. Bush, Vice President Biden actually was very gracious in his praise of Dubya’s love and support for the troops. And yes. They did disagree on policy. Bush 43 wanted VICTORY. O’Biden wanted to divide up the territory and split. And although I appreciate the sentiment, I recognize this device as the new talking point of the Democrats. Bush is to be admired for his love of the troops but he is to receive no credit for the successes that his policy brought to fruition. Bush put his reputation and popularity on the line to promote this policy, one which the Democrats collectively demonized as part of their strategy to gain control of government, but a policy they are now emulating and reaping the benefits from. Olby must be fuming. But I’ll replay the grovelling video over and

I want to thank the Disrupt boys for inviting me into the crew and letting me give my occasional rants about the topics of the day. As a former Marine, I think American Samurai is a fitting screen name. Samurai means “those that serve” and Marines have been called the ” American Samurai” on occasion as defenders of the honor of the Republic! Enough about me. I can barely stomach turning on the TV anymore due to the pablum being spewed by the Media , the Teleprompter in Chief as well as Dingy Harry and Queen Nancy in regards to who drove what into the ditch! The Democraps have been ” Driving Ms Daisy” since 06…… PJTV and Andrew Klavan sum it up nicely in this clip…

I always hated the Army of One campaign because it was a Clinton era ploy to bring disunity to the Army. It was an engineered plot to try to bring the concept of individualism to our one size fits all fighting machine. It was about turning members of a cohesive unit into a thousands of me’s. That headline distracts somewhat from the rest of the content, but I’m not above using a cheap and tawdry headline to bring attention to this post. From our friend Allahpundit at HotAir , and I hate to lift both of these videos but this post would be a dead carp washed up on shore without doing so. So you have to do a pinky swear that you’ll go there and hit their site or I’ll have to hunt you down and talk about you like a dog. First, the pitiful Charlie Crist ad. And now the delicious rework that really tells the truth. I wish I knew how to…

This has been bugging me for a while. Maybe it’s bugging you too. Has anyone noticed that the government controlled automobile companies are employing major American themes of HONOR and TRUST in their ads, a manly handshake, a bond amongst honorable men, while masking their true heritage? You know. The look in the eye followed by that five fingered bond. This Chrysler Corporation/Obama/United Auto Workers government welfare program advertisement trying to sell trucks doesn’t even use the word Chrysler in their ads? It’s not a Dodge Ram. It’s RAM. Just RAM. When I think of Obama and the autoworkers union, honor and trust don’t come to mind. I think this advertisement has been pulled. You know. That fictitious ad from GM saying that they’ve repaid the taxpayers for their bailout, which turned out to be total Bravo Sierra. When I think of the way that two major automobile companies were stolen from investors, when I think of automobile dealerships stolen from their rightful owners and given to political patrons it’s not a five fingered bond, it…
