The Eastleigh riding by-election for local parliament is getting very interesting. Very interesting indeed. UKIP could win after all! Certainly very good possibility of their best turnout ever. I reported the Lord Ashcroft poll this AM but the Guardian is reporting by one of its bloggers that two (the third poll is the Ashcroft one) [...]

During their bankruptcy, most of this debt was either forgiven, or converted to stock owned by the US Government. In the end, GM supposedly only owed the US $6.7 billion, which was the amount repaid. Ten cents on the dollar.

One would think that if discrimination on a basis of sexual orientation were such a problem that the state need include protections in our laws that the gays protesting at Monroe Park at the VCU Campus would fear reprisal and dismissal from school.
Ironically, their protest actually proves that protection is unnecessary and that the General Assembly killing such measures was the appropriate response.

Remember a while back when Obama and the Democrats were caught sending money to and “creating” jobs in non-existent Congressional Districts?
