In looking through the polls, I always check the math. Believe it or not, there are sometimes errors in simple addition as well as more complex issues. The latest Politico poll writeup states: DENVER— With just two days to go until Election Day, Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama are tied in the race for [...]

Paul Simon’s “Slip Slidin’ Away” is replacing Fleetwood Mac’s “Don’t Stop (Thinkin’ about Tomorrow)” in the Appropriate Theme Song category. The gloss and sheen has worn off of the Gold Plated Presidential Candidate as the reality of Barack Obama’s clueless administration sets in with American voters. The “Generic” Republican Candidate has been replaced by [...]

You really don’t need to be related to Nostradamus to see what is about to happen. The debt ceiling bill proposed by Speaker John Boehner that the Republicans are going to pass today will boost Obama’s sagging poll numbers and give the president a much needed boost in his re-election efforts. And it will once [...]

With businesses afraid to hire due to the unpredictable nature of his administration, Barack Obama’s poll numbers have hit their lowest point to date across all of the major polls. He has been abandoned by just about every group and demographic, leaving only the hard core Democratic base and African-American voters standing by their man. [...]

Real Clear Politics keeps a running average every day on the polls around the country concerning, among other things, presidential job approval.
Many of these query only “Adults” who take the poll, and these tend to be favorable to Obama. Some of the polls only report registered voters, which trend generally less favorable towards Obama. Rasmussen is generally the only poll comprised of Likely Voters, which consistently score Obama lower than the other samples.

How’s that hopey, changy summet working for you? Rasmussen says it worked out pretty well – for Republicans.
Obama’s approval index poll numbers hit -20 for the first time. The index is calculated by subtracting the percentage of respondents that strongly approve of the job Obama is doing (23%) from those that strongly disapprove (43%).

That giant sucking sound we heard yesterday was the policies of President Obama sucking the Dow down below 10,000 for the first time in over three months. And jobs. And National Security. And Obama’s poll numbers. A new Marist Poll shows the lowest numbers to date for the Narcissist-in-Chief.

Rasmussen reports yet another low water mark for President Obama shatters his previous record low (from yesterday).
The president’s approval index is -21. That number is the difference in the number of respondents saying they Strongly Approve of the president’s job, and those who Strongly Disapprove of Obama’s performance. And for the first time, Obama’s Strongly Disapprove rating has reached 46%. Add to that the 10% that simply disapprove and the Rasmussen poll shows a total disapproval of 56% – another record for Obama.
Only 25% strongly approve of Obama’s performance, 2% better than his all time low of 23% set last week. Those that simply approve of Obama’s job totaled 19% for a total approval of just 44% which matches his previous low mark also set last week.
So Obama has reached a new low in overall approval of -12% (44% approve and 56% disapprove).
These numbers are, perhaps, the strongest indication of the impact of the Health Care bills on the next elections. While the bills have not even passed and made their way through the Conference Committee, the voters are showing their displeasure at these bills

A new poll just out proves my calculations on a post earlier today were correct when I posted the correctly weighted poll numbers and arrived at a McDonnell Lead of 54% to 33% for Deeds. At least the numbers for McDonnell were pretty close.

So, with President Obama’s poll numbers dropping like a rock because he appears to be dropping his support for Socialized Medicine, it seems that the Left Wing Loonies like Kieth Olberman are beside themselves at the news.
Olberman is threatening the President with outright rebellion, calling for a primary to get a “good” Socialist in the White House.
How sad that would make me.

The McDonnell campaign has been very clear about the large lead in most polls. They don’t believe their lead is double digits. Public Policy Polling has some interesting and, I believe, highly partisan polls. The conclusions they reach in their explanations show their pro Democrat bias.

The latest Rasmussen Report poll shows Obama falling to his lowest ever overall approval. Just 46% approve and 53% disapprove. The poll shows Obama’s approval index at -11. Not a record, which is currently -14, but not a good sign for the failing presidency of Barack Obama.

Bowing to falling poll numbers and angry protests, the White House signaled that they are ready to drop their demand for a Public Option Health Care Plan. The White House signaled the possibility of Insurance Co-ops and other ideas instead.
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said providing citizens with the option of government-run insurance isn’t essential to the Obama administration’s proposed overhaul of U.S. health care.

Many of the Blue Blogs have demonized Republican candidate for Governor Bob McDonnell for his position on the Marriage Act, which defines marriage in the Commonwealth as between a man and a woman. McDonnell has been called homophobic, anti-gay, and has even been accused of discrimination against gays because of his views. So I must assume the Gay community and their supporters would feel the same about Deeds, despite the (D) after his name. To do otherwise would be hypocritical, right?

For months now, Democratic nominee for Governor Creigh Deeds has shucked and jived around the state avoiding Obama and his falling poll numbers like the plague. Obama is in Northern Virginia, Deeds heads west. Obama is in Southwestern Virginia, Deeds runs east. Deeds is well aware that the major reason for the 14 to 15 point deficit in the polls is the baggage from the irresponsible policies and Socialism being pushed by Obama and Pelosi.

Today’s Rasmussen poll has Obama’s Approval Index at -10%, the third day in the last 4 that his numbers have been in double digit negatives. The approval index is obtained by subtracting the number that strongly disapprove from the number that strongly approve. The day after the inauguration, Obama enjoyed a +30% Approval Index. So, in a six month span, the President has seen his approval index drop 40%. The overall approval was also negative, with 50% disapproving to 49% approving of the President’s job performance.
