Virginia House Bill 2048 stinks to high heaven. Agenda 21 – the United Nation’s plan to control land, sea and air is now well on the way to becoming law as it passed the “Conservative” House of Delegates. Consolidation of water quality programs. Moves several water quality programs currently administered by the Department of Conservation and Recreation to [...]

Man, I am sick of these liberal CEO’s who unfairly try to silence Conservative voices – or anyone that disagrees with them. The list is long and seems to be growing. And I love to see the blow-back force the sanctimonious liberals to cave when people rise up and vote with their money. And one [...]

‘The President’s decision to circumvent the American people by installing his appointees at a powerful federal agency while the Senate was continuing to hold sessions, and without obtaining the advice and consent of the Senate, is an unprecedented power grab,” Sen. McConnell said. “We will demonstrate to the Court how the President’s unconstitutional actions fundamentally [...]

While the Supreme Court upheld the ObamaTax mandate which will increase taxes mostly on those making less than $100,000, one other portion of the ruling disallows the Federal Government from defunding states that refuse to expand Medicaid. The way the ObamaTax law was written, if a state refuses to expand Medicaid to take in far [...]

Did you hear the latest on Massachusetts “Conservative” Senator Scott Brown? He is all in on Obama’s unconstitutional recess appointment of Richard Cordray as head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. And he is getting some positive press from supporting Obama here. Unfortunately, it is from the Huffington Post. GOP leaders bitterly accused the president of [...]

Did I go back in the WABAC machine? Where’s Peabody and Mr. Sherman to help me? I was in college at Wright State and I debated the student government chairman on the ERA in 1978 or 1979! I quoted good people like Prof. Freund and Eagle Forum to show the ERA would cause women to [...]

I have blogged on this before and had the honor and privilege of asking Ambassador Bolton the question: Could the ICC arrest Gadhafi when Libya did not ratify the Rome Treaty? While Republicans frequently place their own offspring on the menu, usually in the “nothing to gain” course, Democrats will also eat their young, though they are more likely to require that the delicacy nourish their cause. What a brilliant move by George Soros buying influence, and now taking over National Public Radio for a pittance. [...]

President Obama took Air Force One, at taxpayer’s expense, to Miami for a Democratic Party Fundraiser and said that the Tea Party folks ought to be thanking him.
I agree wholeheartedly.
If it were not for the sudden and overt acceleration of our indebtedness to foreign countries by the Obama Administration, we might have continued in our apathy allowing the stealthy destruction of America’s finances to continue as it has for decades.
If it were not for the massive and unprecedented power grab by the Obama Administration in snatching up banks, student loans, health care, the auto industry and just about everything in sight, we may not have thought about how large the government had grown while we were not paying attention.

Georgia Attorney General Thurbert Baker (D) claims there will be additional significant costs for the lawsuit Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli (R) has filed to stop the Health Care power grab from Obama, Pelosi and Reid. And he claims this is the reason he (Baker) turned down the Republican Governor of Georgia Sonny Perdue’s request to do the same thing.

It looks like the Democrats went all in on Health Care Reform for nothing. White House aids say they see an extended period of unemployment. They don’t expect further job losses, however, and believe an average of 100,000 jobs per month will be created this year.
Problem is, these are all Federal Government jobs. Census jobs to be exact. The Wall Street Journal said:
The job market will receive a fleeting jolt next year [2010] when the U.S. Census Bureau hires more than one million workers for its 2010 count.

Like a priest casting out demons, the Virginia General Assembly’s final vote on the Senate Amendments was approved 80-17 telling Obama, Reid and Pelosi that Virginian’s will make their own decisions about Health Care.
I spoke with Delegate Bob Marshall at the Republican Advance last December who proudly announced that his bill had been designated HB-10 and the journey had officially begun.
