WHERE DO I SIGN UP? Lawsuit against NDAA in the BIG APPLE! (Remember, we have had INDEFINITE DETENTION of US CITIZENS BEFORE! The guy on the FIVE DOLLAR BILL DID IT!)

I am pleased when people stand up against the liberty/sovereignty killing acts such as NDAA! A class action suit was brought in Manhattan Federal Court to strike down the NDAA as unconstitutional.  Of course indefinite detention of US citizens is unconstitutional, Ex parte Milligan says that.  (I know something about Ex parte Milligan – I [...]

SO, Sandy, WHAT HAPPENED in that 1989 campaign? Was it REALLY that exciting? Well, I think so…

Once upon a time, when Reagan was ending a most successful Presidency, there was a political activist who had the itch for running for office.  This activist did not realize how sexy local government is and wanted to run for House of Delegates or state Senate.  Elwood Earl “Sandy” Sanders, Jr., was an attorney in [...]

Obama Approval at 39% in New Gallup Poll

This is significant. President Obama has now dropped below 39% in the latest Gallup poll. As the Independent voters abandon him in droves, the Liberals were not far behind. And for the Progressives, the once promising career has faded into a ghost image on some long forgotten teleprompter. As the Republicans took center stage the [...]

Obama and Democrats Destroy Mitt Romney

If there was any question on who the Democrat’s perceive as the biggest threat to defeat Barack Obama in the 2012 election, look no further. Mitt Romney has risen to the top in several of the early polls, so the Democrats have evidently circulated the “Get Mitt” memo (Unlike Republicans supporting anyone but Maii with [...]

Musings on the scene

Many different topics in a single post, but in some oblique way they are related.  I’m having an ADHD kinda day. State Debt per Capita: Big Winner: Nebraska @ $15 per resident. Big loser:  Connecticut @ $4859 per resident. Go to CNN Money  to scroll over your state on the map to see your share. That’s just State debt, not to be confused with your share of the national debt, which is $43,074.27 No wonder Obama’s approval rating has plummeted to 41 points and the people are now openly defying this President and his agenda.    Missouri sent yet another volley over Obama’s bow by voting 71% in favor of Proposition C yesterday, which would prohibit the…

Obaba: Kiss the American Dream goodbye

Absolutely Nothing Has Improved Under Obama’s Presidency

How do you define a failed presidency? Until now, the gold standard of presidential failure was Jimmy Carter. His main failing attribute was his ineptitude. The man was simply in over his head at every level. The United States has suffered many presidents rich in mediocrity, but none so clueless as Carter. Until now. Barack [...]

Democrats And The Press Begin To Turn On Obama

It is taking it’s own sweet time, but the movement is undeniable. As the polls show a steady erosion of support for President Obama, so goes the press, and even his own party. President Bush spent 8 years with an antagonistic press chipping away at his presidency multiple times each day, save during the immediate aftermath of 9-11. Obama has enjoyed the opposite treatment from the press. He has been elevated to god status by the Mainstream Media and negative stories are suppressed.

Still, it seems to be insufficient to keep the Obama presidency from unraveling.

Another Record Low For Obama Poll Numbers

The latest Rasmussen Report poll shows Obama falling to his lowest ever overall approval. Just 46% approve and 53% disapprove. The poll shows Obama’s approval index at -11. Not a record, which is currently -14, but not a good sign for the failing presidency of Barack Obama.

Democrats Ram It Down Their Throat Option Sinks Obama Approval To Record Low

With public opinion against the “Public” option (code word for Government Run Option) turning totally against Obama, and seeing his job approval sinking fast, President Obama decided to back off on the Government Option Health Insurance. This infuriated the radical left wing members of congress who now plan to go it alone without Republican support.

It seems that this option is even more unpopular.

This Is What Sarah Palin Is Planning To Do Next

The Liberals are saying Sarah Palin’s political career is over. Larry Sabato said “I think it eliminates her from serious consideration for the presidency in 2012.” Her critics claim there “must be” something about to come up that is really bad for Palin.
Many of Palin’s detractors in Alaska have filed numerous complaints against her leading to speculation that she cracked under the legal and financial pressure. The Liberals have made her a constant target and leveled a barrage of hatred towards her and her family. Some disguised as “humor”, others just outright attacks, often for no apparent reason.
