Last week I posted a rather scathing indictment of the Virginia TEA Party movement in general here and here concerning the aftermath of the Republican Primary in which a former TEA Party leader lost to the more mainstream Republican Candidate. There is no doubt that the TEA Party movement has lost some steam (and relevance) since [...]

I am currently reading, for perhaps the 4th time in my life, the book written by the godfather of Community Organizers Saul Alinsky. The book, of course, is Rules for Radicals. This time through, I am digesting the contents far more ravenously than my previous reads. The first time I read it it had a [...]

There was a dust up last week that was very revealing and it was over statehood for Puerto Rico and whether they could have Spanish as an official language. Here is the Santorum view: While campaigning Wednesday ahead of the island’s primary on Sunday, Santorum told a newspaper that for Puerto Rico to become “a [...]

We just cannot leave well enough alone! Here’s a scary and sobering article that shows exactly what happens when we meddle in the Middle East: Followers of Jesus Christ face persecution and death: The Christian community in Syria has been hit by a series of kidnappings and brutal murders; 100 Christians have now been killed [...]

Part I Preface: Apparently, some Virginia Right! readers on the right are confused by the video and writeup of my visit to Kanawha Plaza and my characterization of what I actually found to be true. The article was intended to be true investigative journalism. As such, I reported exactly what I found and attempted to [...]

Richmond Mayor Dwight C. Jones sympathizes with the Occupy Richmond zombies who have set up a tent city in Richmond’s Kanawha Plaza in Downtown Richmond. Jones was quoted in a Times Dispatch article as saying: “I understand protests and occupations and I have been involved in similar types of activities during my lifetime,” Jones said, [...]

Although it would be a complete victory if Clallam County had renounced sustainable development, the city of Sequim did in deed decide not to renew their membership in ICLEI! We’re adding it to the Wall of Honor! Here’s one report from a blog, another from the Freedom Foundation, and a third confirmation from the local [...]

Doug Ross has an interesting post that expresses just what I was thinking: The Master Chief reminds us that the dumbest vice president in American history likely played a role in the tragedy that saw 31 special operators killed, 25 of whom served in the ultra top-secret SEAL Team Six. …It is believed that many [...]

I heard from two liberty activists that Sarasota County (FL) has elected to leave ICLEI due to too many protests about the organization. This is a great victory as the county has nearly 380,000 residents! However, Sarasota County is still deep into sustainability and it will take a tremendous effort to distill the good from [...]

The Montgomery County Commission after protests from citizens elected to allow their ICLEI membership to lapse, according to this report! County Policy Chief Steve Nelson had said at a previous meeting that the county had joined ICLEI in order to access its proprietary software, and Wednesday he said the membership had expired. The protests were [...]

Help Wanted: National Intelligence Director
Immediate Opening:
The Obama Administration has an immediate hire position available for a National Intelligence Director. While this is technically a national security position charged with keeping Americans safe, the major duties now include agreeing with all intelligence positions of the President, yet taking the blame for any and all failures. In addition, any criticism of the President’s intelligence policies will immediately be blamed on the successful candidate.

The left is incapable of understanding the Tea Party Movement. As are many of the status quo Republicans.
But protests are so last year.
Still, most in the Mainstream Media insist the gatherings are protesting something. They advocate lower taxes, so that must be it. Others assume it is some racist protest against President Obama.

Rich Neilson for Ken Cuccinelli:
Obama decided to use the EPA because Cap and Trade is bogged down. EPA based their action on the questionable accuracy of the East Anglia climate data.
Ken Cuccinelli believes the EPA has a political agenda and it must be stopped. This is why he file suit.
Cuccinelli also filed suit in Federal court against the Obamacare bill that is now law. Congress exceeded it’s authority to require citizens to purchase Health Care.

How cool is that? Long time Democrats still have the option to vote for a Kennedy to replace Teddy. And aptly named Joseph Kennedy no less, sharing his name with the Patriarch of the Kennedy family.
How many Mass. Democrats will venture to the polls and vote for a Kennedy as they have for all these many years, instead of Democrat Coakley.
And won’t they be shocked when they find that this Joe Kennedy is not related to Ted Kennedy, or any of the other members of the political dynasty. In fact, this Kennedy is a Libertarian.

Everyone should read the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence on a regular basis. It makes us remember things we tend to forget. Many of us who have roots in America going back to colonial days and the early days of the founding of the greatest country on earth now have a fire in out bellies lamenting our losses of freedom. We come by it honestly.
