Rasmussen has just released a poll of Virginia Voters and Romney now leads Obama in this swing state by 3 points, 50% to 47%. The poll of 750 likely voters was taken on October 18, 2012 and reflects both presidential debates to date as well as the VP debate. One significant finding in this poll is that [...]

A new Rasmussen poll shows Democrat Tim Kaine and Republican George Allen tied at 46% each. If you include “leaners” Kaine has a 1 point lead over Republican George Allen for the Virginia US Senate seat being vacated by Jim Webb. Both numbers are well within the poll’s margin of error and show a statistical [...]

One has to snicker at all of the feminists who believe that with government’s help, they are strong. Hear them roar? Me neither. We hear the Mainstream Media talk about the Gender Gap problem facing Mitt Romney because more women tend to favor Barack Obama. And while that was true in 2008, this year it [...]

I was thinking about this posting when I went to get my hair cut (at Shear Innovations in Mechanicsville – give them a try) and I mentioned the idea of former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for Vice President and the lady cutting hair next to me said that was a great idea! She was [...]

A new Rasmussen poll shows that 31% of Americans give Obama passing marks on the economy. These people are either idiots who are not Progressives, or Progressives who are idiots. And all Progressives are idiots, it is a requirement. This is also proof positive that math skills in our schools need to be improved. After [...]

As Newt Gingrich rises in the Republican Primary polls in state after state, so too does he rise in national polls. A new Rasmussen Poll has Gingrich leading Barack Obama 45% – 43%. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters finds Gingrich attracting 45% of the vote while President Obama earns support [...]

This was a compendium of news in this interesting article about Ron Paul published in Huntington, WV: Presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul has his own fervent army of followers. He advocates bringing the troops home from overseas, and, guess what, Paul has received the most donations of any Presidential candidate from members of the military. [...]

Paul Simon’s “Slip Slidin’ Away” is replacing Fleetwood Mac’s “Don’t Stop (Thinkin’ about Tomorrow)” in the Appropriate Theme Song category. The gloss and sheen has worn off of the Gold Plated Presidential Candidate as the reality of Barack Obama’s clueless administration sets in with American voters. The “Generic” Republican Candidate has been replaced by [...]

How quickly things change. Just over a week ago, we wrote: As of today, August 22, 2010 Republicans could pick up a maximum of 12 seats in the US Senate giving them a total of 53 seats. And not one seat more. Well, we also said: With two and a half months remaining before election [...]

I do not encourage the raising of funds for candidates lest I be accused of being a official fundraiser. But the Rand Paul Money Bomb is today and tomorrow (August 20 is Ron Paul’s birthday) and they seek to raise $400,000 which is the amount Rand’s opponent just put into his own campaign. They are [...]

With businesses afraid to hire due to the unpredictable nature of his administration, Barack Obama’s poll numbers have hit their lowest point to date across all of the major polls. He has been abandoned by just about every group and demographic, leaving only the hard core Democratic base and African-American voters standing by their man. [...]

The latest Rasmussen poll shows that GOP nominee Sharron Angle has a significant lead among Nevada voters and has strong Republican support despite attack ads and distortions of her record. Her lead is eleven points; Angle has 88% support of Nevada Republicans and a significant lead among independents: “Despite their hotly-contested primary,” says Rasmussen, “Republicans [...]

Arkansas Democratic Senator Blanche Lincoln is looking pretty much like a done deal down in Arkansas. With a runoff election still in progress, draining funds, a Lincoln win in 2 1/2 weeks will pit her against Republican John Boozeman who is running on the “I will vote against anything Obama favors” platform.

Justin Raimondo is a strong anti-war libertarian. His site, www.anti-war.com, is useful although I am not sure I entirely agree with him (If I agreed totally with anyone I might have to find somethingto disagree with about that person!) he says interesting and thought-provoking items. Here is Raimondo’s latest column about Cong. Paul. He says [...]

This Reason magazine article on Rand Paul and the KY Senate race is very favorable. Rasmussen reports yet another low water mark for President Obama shatters his previous record low (from yesterday).
The president’s approval index is -21. That number is the difference in the number of respondents saying they Strongly Approve of the president’s job, and those who Strongly Disapprove of Obama’s performance. And for the first time, Obama’s Strongly Disapprove rating has reached 46%. Add to that the 10% that simply disapprove and the Rasmussen poll shows a total disapproval of 56% – another record for Obama.
Only 25% strongly approve of Obama’s performance, 2% better than his all time low of 23% set last week. Those that simply approve of Obama’s job totaled 19% for a total approval of just 44% which matches his previous low mark also set last week.
So Obama has reached a new low in overall approval of -12% (44% approve and 56% disapprove).
These numbers are, perhaps, the strongest indication of the impact of the Health Care bills on the next elections. While the bills have not even passed and made their way through the Conference Committee, the voters are showing their displeasure at these bills

That number for today is -18 only a point up from yesterday’s record low of -19. And as to simple [...]
