I have a copy of the Democrat’s playbook for the Virginia Election. It is readily available on the internet. It is called “Rules for Radicals” and was written by Saul Alinsky and it is really hard to get my Conservative and Republican friends to read this tiny little book we all know about. I suppose [...]

Below is a letter from Cathy Marshall to Republican Party of Virginia Chairman Pat Mullins about the Republican’s intent to raise our taxes. I completely agree with Cathy Marshall and urge everyone to email Chairman Mullins and let him know your feelings. His email address is Pat@rpv.org I prefaced my email to Pat with the following: [...]

According to an AP Report: Election officials in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties on Thursday handed over more than 100 suspect [...]

ROANOKE, VA – Republican Candidate for US Senate Bishop E.W. Jackson won the first of three debates that the Republican Party of Virginia has planned between now and the Republican Primary on June 12, 2012. Jackson’s enthusiasm and charisma was in full display as this man of humble beginnings has gone from a foster child [...]

The following is a press release from the Republican Party of Virginia. No mention of David McCormick so it seems that he was unable to come up with the 10,000 signatures to be placed on the Republican Primary ballot. Congratulations to the 4 candidates that will be on the ballot! From RPV: At 5:03 p.m. [...]

By Karen Kwiatkowski Note: Karen Kwiatkowski is running for Congress against long time incumbent Bob Goodlatte. This is a primary challenge for the Republican nomination. Virginia Right! has endorsed Karen because we see Congressman Goodlatte has grown out of touch and has supported more government intrusions into our lives with bills like SOPA that would [...]

The Republican Party of Virginia has instituted the so-called “loyalty oath” for the March 6 primary. Here‘s the news story about it: Anyone who wants to vote must sign a form at the polling place pledging to support the eventual Republican nominee for president. Anyone who refuses to sign the pledge will be barred from [...]

This is an open letter to Pat Mullins, Chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia. Dear Chairman Mullins; When I was initially asked to sign a petition to place Mitt Romney’s name on the Virginia Republican Primary ballot this past summer, I declined. My explanation was that I did not support Mitt Romney at that [...]

UPDATE: December 28, 2011 @ 5:20 PM I wrote this post about 45 minutes ago criticizing RPV’s decision to remain silent on this issue without offering an explanation of what transpired. I am excited and thrilled that Ron Paul got enough signatures to be on the Virginia ballot on March 6. That is a personal tribute to the hard work of volunteers and the campaign to collect the 10,000 signatures (with 400 from each congressional district as part of that effort) needed to get on the [...]

Should all of us interested in true transparency in politics let this go by because it helps my candidate (For those readers of my blog from Mars, that is Ron Paul)? Igot to speak up. Several of the GOP candidates will not be on the Virginia ballot. Paul and former Massachusetts Governor Romney are confirmed [...]

Well, it’s down to three. Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul. The rest of the Republicans, Rick Santorum, Jon Huntsman, Michele Bachmann and now Rick Perry will not be participating in the Virginia Republican Presidential Primary in 2012. All failed to turn in the required signatures to comply with Virginia Electoral laws. From the Republican Party [...]

I am looking forward to these debates. We have 5 really strong candidates running to face the Virginia voters in 2012. The first challenge will be in a primary contest with the winner moving on to face the Democratic Party nominee. Please make an effort to attend a debate near you! This message is from [...]

The folks at the Republican Party of Virginia have been working really hard to find a single Virginia Democrat that will stand proudly with Obama and his mess. Seems there are none to be found. They have looked high and low, and alas, nada! Now, to be truthful about it, these Democrats ACT like Obama [...]

When people ask what do Republicans believe in one should need point no further than the Republican Creed for an answer. The problem is, which creed do you refer to? There are at least four! Two are pretty good, the third marginal and the forth should be named the RINO Creed (Republican in Name Only). [...]

Yesterday’s Richmond Times-Dispatch has a piece written by Jeff E. Schapiro declaring that Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is the defacto leader of the Republican Party of Virginia, NOT Governor Bob McDonnell. I tend to agree with this position as Ken has been leading the charge on issues like Obamacare, Cap & Trade, illegal immigration and other key issues facing the Commonwealth. McDonnell is subtle. Cuccinelli is anything but. McDonnell, in his rhetoric, proposes the possible. Cuccinelli propounds principle. McDonnell is the accommodating ponderer. Cuccinelli acts with all deliberate speed. Does McDonnell look weak; Cuccinelli, strong? From the start, McDonnell appears to have allowed Cuccinelli to set the tempo. Cuccinelli is an unapologetic conservative leader who fearlessly executes policy based on principle regardless of the political consequences. He did so as a Delegate to the General Assembly. He did so as a State Senator and he’s doing so as AG. This has …
