As the nation searches for answers to the senseless murders of innocent children in Newtown, Connecticut and liberals shamelessly use the tragedy and high emotions to go on a gun grab, we must not let political correctness interfere with the solutions. What could make a young man do this? And is there a connection with the other shootings? [...]

There is no doubt that whoever coined the phrase “Fiscal Cliff” for the converging tax hikes and sequestration cuts is a fan of big government. And while most Republicans and Conservatives are loathe to cut a single dime out of Defense spending, and those on the left will never willingly cut the entitlement spending that [...]

Elizabeth Warren, the far left Progressive that is running against Senator Scott Brown has set the liberals hearts all aflutter with a YouTube video that has made the rounds. In the video, the Massachusetts Senate wannabe says the following: “There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody! You built a [...]

Update – 8/20/2011 – After exchanging several emails with Yale I am satisfied that what appeared to me to be an anti-immigrant bias is actually a strong personal dislike for a candidate. It seems that there is a history between Yale and Tito and their relationship has soured of late. I still take issue with [...]

Here is the new Ron Paul ad according to Politico: MORE – THE NARRATOR’S SCRIPT: “It’s the story of a lost city, lost opportunity, lost hope. A story of failed policies, failed leadership. A story of smooth-talking politicians, games of ‘he said, she said,’ rhetoric and division. One man has stood apart, stood strong and [...]

My heroes for the week are Ryan Rhodes, a founder of the Iowa Tea Party and his unnamed friend, when they confronted President Obama about the alleged statement by Vice President Biden that tea party activists were “terrorists”. Here’s the article from Real Clear Politics: President Obama got into a heated back and forth with [...]

Finally. Finally. Finally. Speaker John Boehner gave a speech a few minutes ago and called out the Democrats and the President for being absent in this debate. We have been holding his feet to the fire, screaming from the mountain top for Boehner to go after the failed leadership of President Obama and Harry Reid. [...]

Update: Wonkette has pulled the post. A post on this page satirizing Sarah Palin using her baby as a political prop was very badly done and sounded like the author was mocking the child and not just Sarah Palin/Sarah Palin’s followers. On Monday President Barack Obama released his latest budget, another financial mess that adds to the national debt while raising taxes as well. His $3.7 trillion budget fails to take government spending seriously, offering tentative cuts at best. In response, Congressman Eric Cantor offered the following statement: “President Obama says he wants to win the [...]

First, you have to find the cause of the problem. A frequent scenario in the NFL is watching two players go after each other after the play is dead. Now, common sense dictates that the issue most likely began prior to attention being drawn to the fight. The referee may or may not have seen [...]

New American’s for New Leadership Ad for Sharon Angle. According to Dick Morris: If we get this ad on and get enough weight behind it, it will destroy Harry Reid. The ad has no heated rhetoric, no slanted adjectives. It just accurately describes Reid’s record and Angle’s positions. It lets words like “Stimulus Package” “TARP” [...]

Yesterday’s Richmond Times-Dispatch has a piece written by Jeff E. Schapiro declaring that Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is the defacto leader of the Republican Party of Virginia, NOT Governor Bob McDonnell. I tend to agree with this position as Ken has been leading the charge on issues like Obamacare, Cap & Trade, illegal immigration and other key issues facing the Commonwealth. McDonnell is subtle. Cuccinelli is anything but. McDonnell, in his rhetoric, proposes the possible. Cuccinelli propounds principle. McDonnell is the accommodating ponderer. Cuccinelli acts with all deliberate speed. Does McDonnell look weak; Cuccinelli, strong? From the start, McDonnell appears to have allowed Cuccinelli to set the tempo. Cuccinelli is an unapologetic conservative leader who fearlessly executes policy based on principle regardless of the political consequences. He did so as a Delegate to the General Assembly. He did so as a State Senator and he’s doing so as AG. This has …

The YouCut project is focused on solutions – when we ask for ideas to cut spending, we don’t ask if it is a Republican idea or a Democrat idea, we just ask if it is a good idea. This week’s YouCut item had the promise of bipartisanship. Last week, four House Democrats proudly announced their [...]

Umm, no, Barack. We want you to stop acting like a petulant, spoiled child and lead the country. You remember. The job you won? President? Ringing any bells?
What we would really like is for you to stop embarrassing the country with your juvenile outbursts. We expect dignity from your office. Remember, others will follow you, though not soon enough. If you don’t respect the country and the office, you can always resign.

The Centerpiece Of The Obama Health Care Sales Job Is Proven False After Months Of Promises That “If You Like Your Plan, You Can Keep Your Plan”
RHETORIC: “Nobody Is Talking About You Forcing To Have To Change Your Plans”
PRESIDENT OBAMA: “If You Like Your Plan, You Can Keep Your Plan.” (President Obama, Remarks On Health Care, 3/3/10)
PRESIDENT OBAMA: “I Have Been As Clear As I Can Be. Under The Reform I’ve Proposed, If You Like Your Doctor, You Keep Your Doctor. If You Like Your Health Care Plan, You Keep Your Health Care Plan. These Folks Need To Stop Scaring Everybody. You Know? … Nobody — Nobody Is Talking About You Forcing To Have To Change Your Plans. … And If You’ve Got Health Insurance, We’re Not Going To Ask You To Change It.” (President Obama, Town Hall Meeting, Raleigh, NC, 7/29/09)

Well, this is simply embarrassing. Barack Obama is leading us into a financial war with our closest ally – Britain.
From the London Financial Times:
UK industry expressed alarm yesterday at the “inappropriate” and increasingly aggressive rhetoric being deployed against BP by Barack Obama, US president, and warned that the attacks on the oil company could damage transatlantic relations.
The concerns come amid mounting political unease in Britain that attacks on BP for its handling of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill are being dictated by the politics of November’s midterm elections rather than normal regulatory considerations.
