RON PAUL SECOND in NH POLL – FAR BEHIND ROMNEY but AHEAD of PERRY! LOCAL RP NEWS – RP SIGN WAVING MONDAY OCT 10 – Site/time TBA

A new New Hampshire poll shows Ron Paul in SECOND place among GOP aspirants, trailing only former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.  The Suffolk/Channel 7 poll has Romney at 41%, Paul at 14% (by the way Paul crushed his debate partner former PA Senator Rick Santorum – 14 to 1%!)  Texas Governor Rick Perry and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin each have ten percent.

Here’s a highlight:

The New Hampshire poll follows a USA Today poll released earlier this week that placed Mr. Paul within the top three candidates vying for the Republican presidential nomination. The Texas congressman has captured national headlines in recent weeks, performing well in a series of recently released polls.

RP is surging!

In local Ron Paul news, there is a sign waving event scheduled for Columbus Day (Oct 10) in Mechanicsville.  I’ll tell you more as I get info but it is planned to be on private property just off of 360.  Robert Steele is the coordinator for the project and you can indicate by commenting at this blog or emailing me at ssanders at varight.com if you are interested.  I plan to be there.

DID the LIBDEM MINISTER ACTUALLY SAY IT? TEA PARTY TORIES? YES HE DID!

A leading LibDem PM who is a minister in the Coalition government, Energy Secretary Chris Huhne, suggested that euroskeptic Tories have been infected with the “tea party tendency” and may even mention (gasp!) Sarah Palin!  (At least President Palin wouldn’t have taken over the healthcare system, attacked Libya, sicced the NLRB on business, engaged in class warfare, asked Israel to consider its pre-1967 borders, etc.  And she’s the stupid one?)  All this rhetorical firepower in scheduled in a speech to be given (may already by now be given) to the LibDem party conference:

Conservative right-wingers will today be branded the “Tea Party tendency” by Chris Huhne, the Energy Secretary, in his keynote speech to the Liberal Democrat conference.

In another sign that the Lib Dems are distancing themselves from their coalition partners, Mr Huhne will criticise the Tory MPs who are calling for Britain to exploit the eurozone crisis by grabbing back some powers from Brussels. His decision to bracket them with such right-wing American Republicans as Sarah Palin is likely to upset some Conservatives.

This is the attack of the EU elites through their British accomplices on those who dare stand for liberty and sovereignty.  But it might backfire on them:  Polls show most Britons do want looser ties with the EU and many want to vote on that issue.  What PM Cameron should do is call for the EU referendum, try to pass it, if it fails in Parliament, dissolve the Coalition, call a snap election and use the EU referendum to rally for a majority in Parliament.  Is the Prime Minister able to do it?  Yes.  Will he do it?  Probably not, unless he decides it will help his political career.  Always remember, the British people have choices:  UKIP

FoxNews Should Introduce Karl Rove as the Anti-Perry Pundit From Now On

Karl Rove has his face in front of the FoxNews cameras almost every time I turn on the Cable News Channel. Unfortunately, they are identifying Rove as an Analyst.

Perhaps a fair and balanced (not to mention honest) description for Rove would be Anti-Perry Pundit. The man has absolutely fallen in hate with the Texas Governor and Republican Presidential Candidate.

It is the worst kept secret in politics that the George W. Bush camp and the Rick Perry camp do not see eye to eye. There is an immense dislike for each other, though the “Bush” people seem to be the ones on the offensive.

Rove has been floating the Sarah Palin candidacy at every opportunity. What this does is keeps Michele Bachmann’s softening support from jumping ship to a more viable Conservative – Rick Perry. And it effectively gives pause to former Tim Pawlenty supporters who prefer Palin over Perry. And for the more down tier candidates like Herman Cain, who is finished but won’t admit it, whose supporters are looking for a new guy.

Rove is well aware that once these people who are supporting candidates more conservative than Romney finally make a move, it will be nearly impossible for Romney to get them to his camp. Rove is doing his level best to freeze the support in place and, at the same time, destroy Perry in hopes that Romney will be the last one standing.

There are many who believe Rove is working for Romney. But the truth may be that Rove is not so much working for Mitt as he is working against Perry.

Jeb Bush has come out and denied a feud between his family and Perry. And that may be true. It could just be that Karl Rove knows that his access to a Perry White House would be non-existent. Rove fears marginalization and extinction. We may be looking at a Rove-Perry feud as opposed to a Bush-Perry one.

Whatever the case, it is very disingenuous of FoxNews to continue to allow Karl Rove a platform to continue his anti-Perry campaign under the cloak of “analyst”.

Rove will always be welcome on MSNBC or CNN. And he will be free to destroy any and all Republicans on those stations. They will be glad to have another anti-Republican Republican token.

And I am sure Rove’s first name gives people like Chris Matthews goosebumps.

The Council Has Spoken!! 5-20-2011

The Council Has Spoken!! 5-20-2011

The Council Has Spoken!!
The Council has spoken, the votes have been cast, and the results are in for this week, carved eternally in the records of cyberspace of our inner sanctum.

This week’s winning article, Why we don’t revere our intellectuals by The Colossus of Rhody, took a far reaching look at exactly what intellectual has come to mean in our society and why many of us don’t revere them – and it has nothing to do with their intellectual capacity, but with something else entirely. Here’s a slice:

Insty had a brief blurb up linking to a Guardian (UK) article which asks “Why don’t we love our intellectuals?” In response, Insty also linked to articles by Christopher Hitchens and the inimitable James Taranto. The question is a good one; conventional wisdom, such that it is, posits that conservatives are the “anti-intellctual” crowd … you’ll see this conceit uttered frequently by folks like the usual suspects, and by those “big brains” in the mainstream media. As partial evidence, it’s conservatives who are frequently made fun of and derided. George W. Bush was a total buffoon — even though he had better college grades than Al Gore; Dan Quayle was a walking, talking gaffe machine — but our current veep actually makes Quayle look like a professional motivational speaker; Ronald Reagan was a “lovable dunce;” Sarah Palin is [insert demeaning comment],” etc. etc. etc.

Take Hitchens’ article next: He dissects the “intellectual” that is Noam Chomsky. Chomsky is sort of a radical leftist academic pop-culture icon (he got a nice gratuitous shout out in Matt Damon’s “Good Will Hunting,” for instance), who somehow has managed to evolve into this deeply heavy political and cultural thinker even though his area of expertise is … linguistics. He is greatly admired by a former big-time Delaware blogger many of you probably know, Dana Garrett. Let me state right up front that I love Dana to death — he’s an incredibly nice and personable fellow, who actually listens to conservative arguments and concedes good points when they’re made … a very rare trait for a progressive. (Notice that I did not put quotations around the word “progressive” this time like I normally do, for Dana is a true progressive.) Chomsky was one of the [many] items Dana and I argued about back in the day. It’s easy to understand why the noted linguist is endeared by progressives: the virtually constant tendency to side with the “underdog,” taking up the cause of the historically oppressed, fighting for minorities and the poor, etc. The problem is that Chomsky and his acolytes will overlook virtually every negative aspect about the causes they take up. Why? To be consistent? Because maintaining a contrarian view is of utmost importance? This leads to what historian Paul Johnson (noted in the Guardian article) stated about people like Chomsky — they are “moral cretins.”

Hitchens’ article dissects much of this aspect, and is pretty much in line with how I feel about him. In this case, ‘ol Noam chimed in on the death of Osama bin Laden where he questioned the al Qaeda leader’s actual responsibility for 9/11, said bin Laden was no worse than George W. Bush, and claimed that, by our commando raid on bin Laden’s compound, we thus “would justify a contingency whereby ‘Iraqi commandos landed at George W. Bush’s compound, assassinated him, and dumped his body in the Atlantic.’” Chomsky also complained that bin Laden’s killing was a “planned assassination,” and that he “should have been accorded all the rights of criminal suspects.”

It should come as little surprise, then, that bin Laden was apparently a fan of the MIT professor.

Pro Abortion Site Calls Trig Palin ‘Retarded’ – Right Wing Fights Back and Makes Them PAY!

Update: Wonkette has pulled the post.

A post on this page satirizing Sarah Palin using her baby as a political prop was very badly done and sounded like the author was mocking the child and not just Sarah Palin/Sarah Palin’s followers.

The writer, Jack Stuef, has apologized for it. And we have decided to remove the post as requested by some people who have nothing to do with Sarah Palin, but who do have an interest in the cause of special needs children. We apologize for the poor comedic judgment.

The left wing site Wonkette has taken Palin bashing to new lows. It is always amazing to listen to the left demand that the right “reel in the rhetoric” all the while going further and further off the deep end.

Consider this clip from the site:

This morning, Team Sarah posted a happy-birthday message at the exact time of his birth. This is a poem “Lynda” wrote for Trig:

Sweet Angel Boy…

Oh, little boy what are you dreaming about
Candy canes and mom’s sweet hugs

Oh, sweet baby boy what are you dreaming about
Play cars…trains…planes and a daddy’s strong hands as he lifts you high and makes you laugh…oh, how safe you feel in those hands

Oh, little boy what are dreaming about
Sisters who play with you…and teach you new words

Oh, as you sleep little boy what are you dreaming about
A big bother that carries you on his shoulders…as he shows you the blue sky

Oh, little boy what are you dreaming about
A mother’s soft lullaby…the soft touch of her hand…the soft sound of her voice as she says “I Love You”
Dream on little boy as the Angels stand guard

What’s he dreaming about? Nothing. He’s retarded.

His mom went to a lot of trouble to leak amniotic fluid over 8 states to make sure that he arrived in this world somewhat alive,

Enjoy yourself today, Trig. Have fun! Get drunk (on purpose this time)! We can hardly wait for 15 years from now, when you will finally be able to vote and will be sent off by your mother’s junta to fight the Union in the Great Alaska War. It’ll be quite a loss. You’re the smartest one in that family.

Despicable. And it does not stop there.

While it would be appreciated if you avoided visiting the site, the less traffic the better, if you simply must, this is the link.

Now for the good news!

After becoming aware of this atrocious post, a number of right wing bloggers and activists began contacting the businesses advertising on the Wonkette. To their credit, a number of them have pulled their ads.

Among the first was Papa John’s Pizza. You can thank them by ordering a pizza today. And their response tweet is here.

One advertiser bites the dust. Do we hear more?

Absolutely!

Huggies was next! I would say go buy some diapers, but that would be kinda weird if you don’t have young kids. Here is their tweet.

And that is not all. Vanguard Financial has pulled their ads. Here is the tweet.

Coldwater Creek, Bob Evans Farms, Holland American Cruise Line, Reliant Energy and Nordstrom.

Who is left? Will more follow?

Update from Life News:

JJIll:  “All: Please know we do not condone the Wonkette story. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. We have taken action to remove our ads.”
Holland America Cruises: “Thanks for letting us known, we have blocked that page from running our ads.”
Nordstrom: “Thanks for letting us know. The ads have been removed. We’re sorry to disappoint you.”
Reliant Energy: “Thank you for alerting us. We did not choose this site and are working to have this removed immediately.”
Bob Evans: “Our ad is not supposed to be running on that site. Agency has been alerted to pull it immediately.”
DealSwarm: “We’ve pulled our ads from the site — we wouldn’t have approved them running next to that blog post. (Trig is a cutie pie.) Thank you for alerting us — we weren’t aware our ads were running alongside a blog post like that. Ads have been pulled.”

Here is the latest list of the remaining advertisers (so far).

Hyatt, HP, Celebrity X Cruises, Fed Ex, Reliant Energy, Jack in the Box, AT&T, Constant Contact, Starkist, Betty Crocker, Gymboree, Dunkin Donuts, QVC, Coca Cola, Ann Taylor, JJill, Adobe, Toyota, Coldwell Banker, Dodge, Ford, Avis, Choice Hotels, Dish Network, LifeLock, FinishLine, and Texas Education Agency.

(Thanks to Free Republic for the list!)

Who also mentions:

If you’re on Twitter, here is an fantastic quick reference Twitter List of Wonkette Advertisers List so you can tweet to them directly too. (ht @_starstar Ellen for putting this together! :) )

(Note – there are more added to this list than mentioned here.)

What is truly amazing is the power of Twitter as used in this effort. Phone calls and emails still work, but Twitter is becoming an increasingly useful tool.

And while Wonkette is free to post as much hate filled garbage as they so desire, we are also free to cut them off at the pocketbook.

Here is a list of others posting on this.

RON PAUL in THIRD PLACE WITH 12%! the REVOLUTION COMES BACK to RICHMOND!

Juana Summers in Politico reports this morning that if former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee elect not to run in 2012, that the main beneficiaries will be former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and former Speaker Newt Gingrich.  However, Ron Paul comes in third with TWELVE precent:

The survey from Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling released Tuesday shows Gingrich and Romney each with 24 percent of the vote among Republican primary voters if Huckabee and Palin are out of the picture. Ron Paul would take third place with 12 percent of the vote.

BY THE WAY, have you seen the AWESOME Ron Paul billboard on 360 coming into Richmond at the Showplace!  It’s only up for a few more days.  See this FB page for details.

Conservatives in VA: Wake Up

Conservatives in VA: Wake Up

There are some disturbing numbers being reported on the Public Police Polling website today. Just 4 short months after Republicans in Virginia ousted 3 incumbent democrats congressmen Obama is consider STRONG in Virgina.

Here are the numbers as reported by Public Policy Polling blog, if the election were held today:

Obama leads Mitt Romney by 6 points in the state at 48-42. That’s identical to the size of his victory over John McCain in 2008. After that his leads increase to 8 points over Mike Huckabee at 51-43, 12 over Newt Gingrich at 51-39, and a whooping 19 over Sarah Palin at 54-35.

Additionally, while Rasmussen is reporting that nationally Presidential Approval Rating is -15%. President Obama’s approval rating in Virginia is at 48%.

If that is not scary enough, remember, we also have a U.S. Senate seat up for grabs. The good news is we will no longer have to deal with Senator Webb, but the bad new is Larry Sabato has predicted that if Obama wins Virginia who ever the “un-named” democrat nominee will take the senate seat. I also believe this to be true.

Nationally, Politico has a great article today “GOP Reality Check” which they quote Mike Huckabee:

“The people that are sitting around saying, ‘He’s definitely going to be a one-term president. It’s going to be easy to take him out,’ they’re obviously political illiterates – political idiots, let me be blunt,” said former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee in an interview.

OUCH! O.k. I am wake and I get the point. This is no time to start resting on our butts assuming that Obama will be defeated, especially in VA. It is imperative that we turn Virgina back to red.

Obama Observes 30 Days of Silence on Egypt

No matter the disaster we know we can count on President Obama to be AWOL on leadership. As the images of a meltdown pour in from Cairo and all over Egypt, Obama plays the Nero card and fiddles around, hoping someone else will do something.

We saw this inability to lead during the financial meltdown in 2008. Obama sat on the sidelines letting it happen. And again, when the oil began leaking in the Gulf of Mexico, nothing but silence.

But when he does act, it is always wrong, so who can blame him for being reticent?

For instance, in 2006, then Senator Obama took a stand against raising the debt ceiling saying “The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure.” And now, he is demanding the limit be raised.

Obama took a stance in the case of the black University Professor and walked away with egg on his face.

He has shown a similar failure to act with North Korea, Iran and other nations that are threats to Americans.

Yet he urges restraint when a Muslim Terrorist opens fire on a US Military base, and with other terrorist threats to the country.

But he is the first in line to criticize those who openly disagree with him, or point out his failures, something the “Mainstream” Media is loathe to do.

Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and others do not get the 30 days of silence and calls for understanding and restraint afforded even terrorists.

And it would do this Administration well to take a look at the protests in Egypt. These destructive demands for change are truly a Mob scene. Although every single TEA Party protest was without violence, this Administration and the Democrats wrongly characterized TEA Party protests as identical to those happening in Egypt and elsewhere in this world. This is a country where battles are fought at the ballot box as demonstrated last November. It is unconscionable for Obama and his minions to portray honest dissent as anything remotely resembling the scenes playing out in other parts of the world.

And the hypocrisy of this administration giving advice to Egypt to “listen to the grievances of the people” is laughable. Would that this were a sign that Obama finally “gets it”. That ignoring the will of the people is a career limiting move for politicians.

But, alas, this is simply the ploy of an ineffective leader attempting to play both sides of the fence in order to not alienate the eventual victor.

We have moved from Ronald Reagan’s “Tear down that wall” to a President cowering under a desk, afraid to lead.

ROMNEY WINS NH STRAW POLL of GOP LEADERS; PAUL SECOND!

As expected, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney won the GOP straw poll today but Cong. Paul came in second.  Romney had 35% and Paul 11%.  No other candidate had double digits.

I have blogged elsewhere that Romney will be out of the race due to his Obamacare type health plan in his home state and thus this is good news for Paul.  But Paul needs to decide and come out swinging, so to speak, as it appears former Speaker Newt Gingrich is running (Gingrich is actually right now a legal resident of our own Commonwealth of Virginia but will run from Georgia, his former home state.  He is a native of Pennsylvania.) and Michele Bachmann got a mostly warm welcome in Iowa as the alternative to Sarah Palin.  People may be starting to make decisions and this will hurt Paul in key states.  I strongly suggest that the RP meetup groups immediately re-form in Iowa, NH and SC for immediate action!

Tucson ‘Victim’ Arrested for Threats May Be Sex Offender

Although the ‘Mainstream’ Media has somehow been very quiet about the fact that one of the victims of Tucson shooter Jared Loughner, a Democratic ‘operative’ named James Eric Fuller.

After listening to the media blame the TEA Party and Conservatives such as Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh, Fuller managed to become fired up enough to travel to a local Town Hall and threaten the head of the local TEA Party movement in Tucson. Yea. Cops arrested him.

He subsequently apologized and instantly became the new Mainstream Media darling, with these left wing trolls fawning all over this poor man.

Not so fast!

Blogger Greg W. Howard has done some digging and the “upstanding” victim may have changed his name a while back to disassociate himself with a conviction as a sex offender a while back.

According to Howard:

A quick check of court records in Pima County, Arizona, reveals that on November 24, 1997, a man by the name of Prince Eric Fuller legally changed his name to James Eric Fuller. The order was signed by Judge Lina Rodriguez under case number c323363. (View docket here.) From that point, the trail on James Eric Fuller goes cold, but the trail on Prince Eric Fuller picks up.

A simple web search for the name Prince Eric Fuller yields a huge surprise, readily available to anyone with a search engine. Before the U.S. Supreme Court a case was heard under Fuller v. Oregon, 417 U.S. 40 (1974). The case was brought by Prince Eric Fuller and involves whether or not an indigent person may be forced to pay court and other costs associated with their crime or whether the charging of such costs would violate equal protection tenets of the law. The appeal was lost, and SCOTUS affirmed that said costs could indeed be taxed to the person convicted. On its face, this appears to be a rather mundane ruling on constitutional issues.

That is, until one examines the underlying conviction: Sodomy in the Third Degree!

Keep in mind that this research was done by Greg Howard and we are simply reporting his findings as his investigation continues.

Read his full blog post on the matter here. or here. The story also appears on The Examiner.

One thing is for sure. A serious look must be taken at this person’s mental status. The warning signs are there.

The Council Has Spoken..Progressive Bar-B-Cue Edition!

The Council Has Spoken..Progressive Bar-B-Cue Edition!

The nation has had an interesting week, has it not? And this week’s Watchers Council vote was no less interesting, mainly focused as it was on the tragic events in Tucson and their highly instructive aftermath, as the Left and their allies in the media decided not to let a good crisis go to waste and attempted to blame one man’s insane actions on the usual targets – Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, the Tea party, and talk radio.

Unfortunately for them, the country didn’t buy it, largely because they tried to draw water from that well one too many times in the past. Instead, it backfired and turned into a real donkey roast, as many of the entries this week document.

We ended up with a tie this week in the Council category this week.

Joshuapundit’s The Constitution War focused on our Constitution and the reading of it in Congress becoming an issue. And as I pointed out, there are apparently a number of Democrats who find our Constitution not particularly worthy of veneration, even to the point of linking the mere reading of it to the Tucson shootings and calling for talk radio and political discourse to be censored…ironic since Gabrielle Giffords, one of the few Democrats who accepted the GOP’s invitation to take part read the First Amendment.

My piece attempted to show why they feel that way, why they are dead wrong, (if we’re still permitted to use that phrase)and why John Boehner and the Republicans were entirely right about the Constitution needing to be read right now.

Bookworm Rooms’ scintillating piece, Progressives live in the past when it comes to shaping the message focused on how ‘Progressives’ tried to use the same old tactics they’ve used in the past successfully to milk the Tucson tragedy and lay it at the feet of their political opponents in a modern version of Orwell’s ten minute hate.

Only this time, as Bookworm points out, they failed because they don’t control all the information sources the way they used to:

The Dems are now proving that they also live in the past when it comes to their understanding about their ability to control the message. They speak as if this is 1995, an era in which only a relatively small number of America’

The Left Wants Sarah Palin DEAD! Tweets Exposed!

This video of liberal tweets shows exactly how the left thinks. The don’t care one bit about the tragedy in Tucson, just a deep seeded hatred of anything Conservative.

WARNING: This shows some horrible tweets by those on the left wishing ill on Sarah Palin. Some is vulgar.

UPDATE: YouTube removed the original, but copies have sprung up. Censorship at it’s finest! This link works for now, but I have now downloaded a copy of the video and placed it on Vimeo. I will provide a link when Vimeo finishes my 30 minute “penalty” wait to compile. (To “encourage” you to pay for higher service, you must wait 30 minutes in queue on Vimeo.)

Supreme Court Justice Sarah Palin?

Filibuster Change May Put Sarah Palin on Supreme Court

Supreme Court Justice Sarah Palin?

Supreme Court Justice Sarah Palin?

How cool would that be? Would Liberals brain’s explode, or what?

First and foremost, you must understand what is behind the proposed change in the Filibuster rules Dirty Harry Reid is about to introduce (or a Reid surrogate).

It is all about Ruth Bader Ginsburg, or Darth Vader Ginsburg as she is known in the Empire. She MUST retire before 2012. Long enough before to have a suitable ultra-Liberal replacement found and confirmed by the Senate.

But the new Republican Minority/Majority in the Senate will never allow a liberal of Ginsburg’s caliber on the court. There are enough strong right wing Republicans to more than make up for the the squishy RINO Scott (#41) Brown, who was Scott (#60 for the Democrats) Brown quite often, and the Witches of Eastwick Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe. Now the Democrats will be pretty much unable to shut down discussion on a bill, or more importantly, a nomination for SCOTUS.

So, what is likely to happen is the Dark Lord Ginsburg will be replaced by a far more moderate Liberal who is likely to actually apply the US Constitution every now and again. And the Progressives just can’t have that, now can they?

So Harry must change the rules or the entire balance of the court will shift decidedly to the right – which would actually be a shift to the Constitution. Even (gasp!) abortion will be threatened! And ObamaCare would not stand a chance with someone who actually read the Constitution.

The US Senate was intended by the Founding Fathers to be the body of no. Or more precisely, the body of slow. A moderating influence that fosters bipartisanship and cooperation as the only way to pass legislation.

The House can be full of Hot Heads, but the cooler heads of the Senate are an important balancing factor to keep the country on an even keel. A lot of knees must jerk in the Senate to really muck up the Nation.

And both parties have used the filibuster in the past to slow or stop bad legislation – bad as defined by the filibustering party.

As is the habit of Democrats, the unintended consequences of their actions always come back to bite them on their collective arses. But, more often, it bites Americans in their pocketbooks or their sense of morality and decency.

The argument being put forth by the Progressives who wish to end the power of the minority, now that Republicans have enough votes to stand in the way of their radical agenda, is that the Senate is not a continuing deliberative body. Which means, in essence, that the current rules of the Senate are no longer in force, and new rules must be enacted regarding the procedures in the Senate.

Now, that is true in the House. All 435 members are freshly elected every two years. So, their rules must be voted upon every two years. But the Senate is a continuous body in that only one third of the members face re-election in any given biennium. Which means that the majority of the Senators remain in office in any given election year.

The Senate is allowed to visit the rules under which they operate at any time. But the current rules require 67 votes to change. Harry Reid believes, apparently, that since they are a “new” Senate, the old rules are no longer valid and may be changed with only a simple majority.

We can’t win elections, so let’s change the rules is the mantra du jour.

If the Democrats are allowed to change these rules and effectively end the ability to slow down bad legislation, this will have little effect because the House will stop any Liberal Agenda bills that have been rammed down out throats these past two years.

But remember those unintended consequences?

This power play will drive voters absolutely mad with fury. There will be little doubt that the Senate and White House will move to Republican hands with such an arrogant and blatant move as this.

Republicans will have the power to remove every one of these ill appointed judges, repeal every scintilla Progressive mischief and more when they return to power in 2012. And with a mandate from the voters.

So, the Republicans should promise to impeach any far left court appointees and replace them with far right ones in 2013, saving the best for last.

Supreme Court Justice Sarah Palin would be rammed through with 51 votes in the Senate to replace the illegally appointed ACL you got to be kidding scheme Reid is instigating, for at least 4 years.

Or if they want someone with experience instead of Palin, Ann Coulter might be available. Mox nix.

And then when Dems take over again, we can completely wipe out the right leaning Justices, and so on and on.

Do they really want to go there?
