The Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Charlie Rangel, has a problem with honesty and integrity. Yet the Democrats allow him to remain on top of the most powerful committee in the House. Steve Shannon hired a new campaign manager, Mike Henry, to try to make him appear to be a viable candidate. Mike needs to go back to the drawing board. Perhaps he is still reeling after managing Terry McAuliffe’s disaster of a campaign, spending money faster than President Obama and Nancy Pelosi combined with the same dismal results. Henry comes with a good history of results, managing Tim “The Absentee Governor” Kaine’s campaign as well as Mark Warner’s successful campaign for US Senate. Unfortunately for Henry and Shannon, George Bush is out of office and Obama is not doing so hot. For the first time, Henry will actually be forces to run a campaign against the actual opponent, rather than against an unpopular Bush.
