The Goochland County Board of Supervisor (sic) is withdrawing from a state association that supports counties and lobbies on their behalf, saying some of the group’s legislative positions do not reflect [...]

I understand their reasons – the fear of judicial activism – that is not illegitimate BUT it is unlikely that a court NOT of [...]

(I must confess that when Bob first ran for delegate in 1991 I supported his opponent in the primary! But I said [...]

Brent Budowsky writes this ironically humorous article in The Hill supporting Harry Reid. Budowsky suggests that Theodore Roosevelt would support Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) since he is actually out there in the arena fighting for the right: Roosevelt continued: The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred [...]

The ABC stores should be sold and extra revenue raised from the private dealers (with appropriate safety and zoning regulation) applied to essential government needs like education.
But I urge the Governor not to stop there: Sell the lottery, too.
