The voters in the 74th Virginia House District have a chance to dump the ineffective representation they have suffered with these last two years. Republican Candidate Michael Gage has worked hard, made phone calls knocked on doors, held Town Hall meetings, meet and greets, and attended forums and any other opportunity to show voters what they have been missing these last two years: A Delegate that will work for the 74th District!

First, this race is hardly over, and anything can happen over the next 12 days to change the outcome. But in a discussion this week with some friends who happen to be Democrats, the topic turned to Tim Kaine, specifically in his capacity as DNC Chairman.
Tim Kaine was appointed Chairman of the DNC in January of this year. We all agreed that this was a reward for Kaine for two reasons. First, for his part in delivering Virginia for President Obama, no small task. And, secondly, in anticipation of moving Virginia from a “purple” state to a “blue” state. Keep the Governor’s mansion and take the House. This would complete the fade to blue, give Democrats complete control of Virginia and, most importantly, redistricting.
