SENATORS SCHUMER, McCAIN and of course GRAHAM still for the MARK of the BEAST ID CARD! NO FOLLOWER of CHRIST should support these SENATORS at the POLLS!

Both the Weekly Standard (which I do not fully trust) and the Wall Street Journal (which I trust more) have called for a biometric ID card for ALL US workers to prove they have legal status.  Here’s the Weekly Standard’s quoting the WSJ: The Journal writes that “at least five of the eight senators writing [...]

Mark Levin ‘The Great One’ Rips Bob McDonnell A New One

Talk Show host Mark Levin rips Bob McDonnell a new one over his mega tax increase and Medicaid expansion. Even the Wall Street Journal said that the name of McDonnell comes up from time to time as a Presidential Candidate in 2016 – “well, that (tax increase) erases that”. Well said, Mark! Listen:

THERE’S ONE SNUB at the OSCARS that is UNFORGIVEABLE: THE REAGAN SNUB!

The Wall Street Journal has this intriguing report about the so-called Bigelow Snub:  That the director of the movie Zero Dark Thirty,  Kathryn Bigelow, was the victim of (ready now?  It’s shocking!) right wing politics!  That the Academy caved to right-wing criticism surrounding this movie and refused to nominate the director (the film was nominated [...]

Let’s Bring Dodge-Ball Back to Schools!

Are you old enough to remember Dodge Ball? It was a wonderful little “sport” that we used to play in Gym Class, usually when it was too wet or too cold to go outside. It was a fun activity could entertain the whole class indoors at the same time. The coach would divide the class [...]

History, Truth and a Point By Point Look at Occupy Wall Street’s ‘The 99 Percent Declaration’ (Part 1)

Part I Preface: Apparently, some Virginia Right! readers on the right are confused by the video and writeup of my visit to Kanawha Plaza and my characterization of what I actually found to be true. The article was intended to be true investigative journalism. As such, I reported exactly what I found and attempted to [...]

One Year’s Worth Of Union Dues Could Support 265,447 U.S. Workers For A Year

Labor Union Report suggests: Union bosses have been engaging in class warfare for so long now that it’s become standard for the media to echo the meme without challenge. An example of such mainstream Marxism is in today’s Bloomberg piece entitled ‘Runaway CEO Pay’ Could Support 102,000 U.S. Jobs, AFL-CIO Says. Bloomberg’s piece relies heavily [...]

Obama Admin Finally Seeing Folly Of Its Gitmo Policy?

It’s now been almost two years since President Obama announced on his second day in office that “Guantanamo will be closed no later than one year from now.” But this policy was announced hastily, and as Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell pointed out a year ago, “[President Obama] didn’t provide any details about how the [...]

SUPPORT CONG. PAUL AS A SUB COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN!

I have read this article by the Richmond Libertarian Examiner, Igor Prohorov, on Cong. Paul. It is well written example of good solid editorial writing. Paul is slated to become the chairman of the House subcommittee that oversees the Federal Reserve.  Now, there are soundings that GOP leaders are being “asked” to prevent that event [...]

Thanks To Obamacare, Iowa Insurer To Stop Selling Health Insurance

On Wednesday, President Obama was in Iowa to again attempt to sell his policies, particularly his unpopular health care law. In a backyard discussion, a woman expressed her concerns to the President about his health care bill. Obama assured her, “[T]here’s nothing in the bill that says you have to change the health insurance that [...]

Surprise! MSNBC More Negative Towards Obama Than FoxNews

Several months ago, President Obama said: If everybody here turned off your CNN, your Fox, just turn off the TV, MSNBC, blogs, and just go talk to folks out there, instead of being in this echo chamber where the topic is constantly politics. The topic is politics. It is much more difficult to get a [...]

Public, Economists, And Even Democrat Congressman Not Seeing ‘Recovery Summer’

Gallup writes today, “Americans of all political persuasions say the economy and jobs are the most important problems facing the country today. These concerns easily outpace all others, thus providing politicians seeking office in this fall’s midterm elections with clear marching orders from their constituents: Fix the economy. . . . In the Aug. 5-8 [...]

Dems’ Financial Regulation Bill Won’t Fix Problems, Adds Bureaucracy, Ignores Fannie & Freddie

Yesterday, the Senate passed the severely flawed Dodd-Frank financial regulation bill. Though the Obama administration has long promoted the bill as a signature agenda item, it’s clearly lost its luster politically and with the general public. It’s not hard to see why. Speaking on the floor prior to the vote yesterday, Senate Republican Leader Mitch [...]

Dow Says Obama Acted Stupidly and Drops Below 10,000

The jobs numbers for May are horrible any way you look at them. The 431,000 jobs created included 411,000 temporary census jobs. There were only 20,000 private sector jobs created for the entire month.

President Obama is running around trying to tell people the economy is “getting stronger every day.”

Today Wall Street called his bluff. The DOW fell 323 points to close at 9,932 – below the psychological bottom line of 10,000.

Will DOW Drop Below 10K Today?

All signs are pointing to a big drop in the Stock Market today. Experts had expected a drop in the weekly unemployment filing figures by around 4,000. Instead, a large rise of 25,000 new claims sent futures down sharply as hopes for a recovery in progress dimmed.

Combined with a weakening Euro, which is sending fears of a double dip recession overseas, this could be a bad day on Wall Street.
