‘We need to grow the economy—not the government…Government has never been bigger or more out of control. They say there is no problem with waste, fraud, and abuse; they say the problem is you; they say you are not sending them enough money; they say they have wisely spent every penny. So, you must just [...]

McConnell Comments on House-Passed Bill to Prevent Default

Ok, I really don’t like the idea that this bill “prevents default”. If the government shuts down, we still have money. Defaulting on the debts will be a choice by the President, not an inevitability. And the task before Congress is twofold. Protect the credit rating and keep the government running. Simply borrowing more money [...]

McConnell on Earmarks: The People Have Spoken—I’m listening

`Unless people like me show the American people that we’re willing to follow through on small or even symbolic things, we risk losing them on our broader efforts to cut spending and rein in government. Code Pink Rally Round the (alleged)Traitor

Alleged traitor and the new darling of Code Pink and the other war protestors Bradley Manning is being held in Quantico, Va. pending possible trial on charges he leaked numerous diplomatic cables plus secret video of a 2007 U.S. helicopter attack on unarmed men in Baghdad. On Sunday the first ever Free Bradley Manning Rally was held in the Quantico town park just outside of  the military installation of the same name. Since Cindy Sheehan retired this group has been looking for someone to energize their movement and they have latched on to this suspected dishonorable private.  Being a veteran of many tea party rallies in Virginia and Washington D.C. I must say their effort was lacking in substance and energy. Just when it looked like the day might pass without incident the courageous members of the CNN crew got into a heated confrontation with law enforcement as seen at the end of this exclusive footage shot by our own P. Henry Saddlebur while in deep cover.  Code Pink was not alone, there was also a counter protest at the park sponsored by the Washington chapter of FreeRepublic…

Bookmark RICHMONDTEAPARTY.COM

Most everyone knows about RichmondTeaParty.Com by now, but it can’t be stressed enough how important their grass roots effort is to overcoming the Socialism that is coming from Washington D.C. The Richmond Tea Party was just the beginning. The name may not say it, but the Tea Party was NOT a one time event. It is an ongoing peaceful revolution in progress with the only weapons used being the most powerful one we have – the ballot box. This is not a Republican thing. It is a Patriotic thing. Mark Twain Said:

In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce and brave man, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.
