I am advised from Voice of the Martyrs (I regard VOM as reliable) that the execution of Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani is imminent. Here’s the article from VOM. Update 8:08 AM: This is definitely a nationwide outage. I have seen reports from coast to coast online. Some areas are reporting that 3G has come back up – Washington DC and some smaller areas. Nothing yet in New York, and I have no 3G or 4G in the Richmond area. Are you looking for [...]

I wholeheartedly support and endorse the Guardian’s (UK) editorial on the death sentence of Pastor Youssef Nadarkhani. Mohammad Ali Dadkhah, the lawyer who was brave enough to defend him, was himself sentenced to nine years on trumped-up charges this summer. Both these sentences are offences against natural justice. Both were appealed. The supreme court in [...]

The 2010 edition of the 9-12 Rally in DC was, at a distance, very similar to the 2009 version; patriots attended from all across the nation, the wore colorful clothing and carried very witty signs. The numbers didn’t quite match last year but given many who might have attended were just in DC on 8-28 at Glenn Becks Restoring Honor Rally, the turnout was impressive. What struck me most was the notable difference between ’09 and ’10. In 2009 the throngs of concerned citizens marched to our capital to let their elected officials know that they were not happy with the fiscal irresponsibility of the Federal government, their dissatisfaction with the stimulus bill and their opposition to the proposed Obamacare bill, Cap & Trade and Card Check. Today …

Here’s a little video of my day yesterday, the Restoring Honor Rally in Washington, DC, a place deeply in need of honor. All content was shot by me except the last AP photo which was shot from on top of the Washington Monument. I got up early because of my concerns over lack of cooperation from the local cabbies and because Metro didn’t open until 7, so I decided to walk the 3.5 miles from my hotel in Arlington to the mall. Good thing I did, because I was able to walk past the Iwo Jima memorial, then the Netherlands Carillon where I got that shot of the sun rising above the city, then past Arlington National Cemetary where thousands of honorable men and women rest. Let’s just say, it put me in the mood for the rest of the day.

‘Taxpayers are still fuming over a health care process where their money was thrown around like a high roller in a hotel lobby to win last-minute votes, and now the same backroom dealing is being repeated with their freedom of speech’
WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell made the following statement Tuesday on Democrats’ efforts to carve out special deals for organizations in exchange for their support of the partisan DISCLOSE Act.

The upscale place to be nowadays is the simi-private club simply called George. And to rise to that distinction in the Georgetown section of Washington, DC is quite an accomplishment!
I received an email from Ford O’Connell, chairman of the CivicForumPAC which hosted the event. I met O’Connell last year during the Virginia Elections and I posted a number of posts on Virginia Right! about the project he was working on. During the past year, I have come to know Ford O’Connell pretty well. Well, enough to know that Good Morning America was completely off base claiming there would be a “Pelosi Penata”. I am absolutely shocked and amazed at how easily a willing Main Stream Media can be duped

This is a horrendous organization that needs to be examined closely and those responsible for the fraud and waste of Taxpayer money need to get some free Government Housing themselves. Behind bars.
