What a crock of crap.
Cantor talked about reducing spending, when he has voted, recently, to increase spending by voting for Earmarks that he Pledge in March by signing a Pledge that he will not for for Earmarks.
Cantor still hasn’t heard a word the People are saying. And only hears what the GOP wants us to know.
When did Cantor last vote for Earmarks? In this video he states he gets it – the Republicans were fired for cause. He says he learned the lesson.
I assure you, he heard us. No more!
The voters will not allow our elected officials to continue on with business as usual. If he does, he will be sent home in two years.
Eric Cantor is in a leadership position, one that has the juice to really make a difference. He has a chance to back up his words. I take him at his word, and in spite of his past votes, I believe he will do the will of Virginians. And he has 2 years to back up what he says.
Listen to his speech at the 4:45 mark up through the 7:00 minute mark. This 2 minutes and 15 seconds of promises will remain on this blog indefinitely. And if Eric Cantor does not honor these words, this speech and numerous others will be played over and over by his primary challenger.
But I believe Eric Cantor knows the party went astray and is in the best position as Majority Leader to fix things done by his votes AND WITH OUR APPROVAL – BECAUSE WE VOTED HIM IN OFFICE.
We never told him to stop until now.
Let’s see if he heard us and listens to us. I believe he will.
I agree with you Tom I think this is a start. Cantor is overall one of the good guys and will remain so if we hold him to it. My votes for him!
