ObamaCare to Kill 100,000 Americans Needlessly Per Year When Implemented

The liberals managed to use hook and crook to shove through a horrible bill disguised as Health Care Reform. However, the bill does nothing to fix the high cost of health care, and everything to attack the true enemy of Socialized Medicine – the Insurance Industry.

Liberals were overjoyed at passing the bill. Not because it does anything good, but because they now have the framework on which to build a complete government takeover of America’s Health Care, European style.

The problem is, most people do not really know a whole lot about what goes on behind the Utopian idea of free and comprehensive health care. When this Utopian fantasy runs into the real world financial wall, something’s gotta give.

Sadly, patient care is what gives. Our current system in the US is undeniably costly, but the central focus is patient care, not dollars. So, while expensive, there are virtually no waiting lists for care outside of organ transplants. Not so in the UK, a country with a mature socialized medical care system in place. The focus has evolved away from patient care and more towards cost. Like Social Security and Medicare in the US, the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK is fighting spiraling costs and insufficient funding.

Long waits are common in the UK and the focus on cost has totally replaced the focus on patient care.

A recent story in the UK Mail Online shows a prime example of where we are headed in America. Just like President Obama claims the Health Care Reform bill has no death panel, the same is true in the UK. But the UK does have the National Institute of health and Clinical Excellence, or NICE. Most simply call it the rationing body, and accept that as just the normal result of socialized medicine.

NICE decides what can and cannot be done for you, medically speaking. In the UK Mail Online story, the rationing body has rejected a number of cancer drugs, not because they don’t work, but because they are too expensive. The story claims that up to 20,000 people per year die needlessly because NICE will not allow treatment with the more effective, yet more expensive drugs.

Considering that the US has approximately five times the population of the UK, we can expect at least 100,000 unnecessary early deaths in the US as ObamaCare matures and cost replaces care FOR CANCER TREATMENT ALONE!

Most people erroneously assume that the high level of patient care we have in the US will remain the same and the cost will be paid by the wealthy. The fact is, this is simply the lies that must be told to get the unwashed masses to accept something that will eventually decide the value of your life verses the cost of a cure.

The high level of patient care comes at a cost. One that government run health care will be unable to bear.

    Tom,
Would it be better if they needfully kill 100,000? Just askin’….;)
