Here’s a little video of my day yesterday, the Restoring Honor Rally in Washington, DC, a place deeply in need of honor. All content was shot by me except the last AP photo which was shot from on top of the Washington Monument. I got up early because of my concerns over lack of cooperation from the local cabbies and because Metro didn’t open until 7, so I decided to walk the 3.5 miles from my hotel in Arlington to the mall. Good thing I did, because I was able to walk past the Iwo Jima memorial, then the Netherlands Carillon where I got that shot of the sun rising above the city, then past Arlington National Cemetary where thousands of honorable men and women rest. Let’s just say, it put me in the mood for the rest of the day.
