This is an interesting post from a fellow Examiner writer:
For the past few days bloggers have been speculating on whether or not North Korea engaged in sabotage to torpedo the Gulf oil rig, resulting in a massive explosion that sent the rig sinking into the Gulf and spilling thousands of barrels of oil that are now headed to the Gulf Coast.(AP Photo/Gerald Herbert).
This blog is an example of the story being reported, which is based upon a Kremlin report in the ‘EU Times’ which accuses North Korea of blowing up the rig in an attempt to sink a South Korean vessel in the Gulf.
At least one major mainstream media news outlet, television station WRAL in Raleigh, North Carolina, also reported the story that quotes heavily from the Russians.

Although it’s probably not impossible but to take a North Korean submarine and take it half way across the world doesn’t sound like the the most efficient way of getting at South Korean or US interests.
What it does sound like is a way for these big 3 corporations (Haliburtan, BP and other) to cast aspersions on their responsability for the clean-up expensives.
You have good instincts. This is a David Booth hoax. His website is http://www.whatdoesitmean.com. You might still find the story there. But whatever you do, don’t go to this site for news. Many unfortunately do.
I heard on the radio that this was sabotage and they are covering it up. When is anyone ever going to do anything about the type of bullying called mobbing and gangstalking and a lot of their sites say the cops and firemen are in on it.
This is important. This bit of disinformation originated with David Booth (alias Sorcha Faal) whose website is What Does It Mean. Booth is probably the most notorious hoaxer on the Internet. He’s also the source for the story that Russian scientists believe that lethal oil dispersants and leaking petroleum from the damaged Gulf wellhead will soon be combining to produce deadly toxic rains, wiping out much of North America. Several years ago he was thrown off George Noory’s Coast to Coast show for falsely claiming to have met Sister Lucia, one of the Fatima visionaries. Booth asserted then that Sister Lucia had confirmed a vision of his in which he saw the earth in a close encounter with a large celestial body that triggered an explosion of the Yellowstone supervolcano. Do your own due diligence, and don’t be victimized by Booth or others like him.
