Nickelodeon is a children and teen TV network that is blatantly into Obama-worship and environmental wackoism.  Several weeks ago, at the Kid’s Choice Awards, the First Lady showed up and was also a recent star of the show on one of the most popular tween shows:  iCarly.  That would be fine except for the fact that Michelle Obama is a huge part of her husband’s campaign.  One webad for the Obama campaign says:  Tell Michelle you’re in! (Check out this video from Nick where Taylor Swift gushes over the First Lady.)  The First Lady ought to be a unifying symbol but Hillary Clinton ruined that with overt politics.  If Mrs. Obama is going to be used to help her husband’s campaign, she should avoid public settings that pretend to be non-political. Or there should be some sort of in-kind contribution noted.

But this is too much:  Halloween twice a year!  Nick decided to bring a day of Halloween on April 28!  I remember when Halloween was the last two weeks of October, then it gradually bled into the whole month and now we have Halloween stuff in the stores in September (I think even August last year!)

Halloween is not a favorable holiday.  It has all sorts of satanic connections.  I am not against harmless trick or treating, although some believers are against it and I respect that:

On the Focus on the Family Web site, Dr. James Dobson advises that “if the Halloween experience is focused on fantasy rather than the occult, I see no harm in it. My final word to parents on the subject would be ‘stay true to your own convictions.'”

Many sites—including and Family Life Communications—provide perspective on the day and alternative ideas for celebrating. Meanwhile, provides a list of “reasons why it might not be wise to participate in Halloween.”

Here’s my blog on followers of Christ having an alternative to Halloween.  But twice a year is too much.  I protest! (To be on the winning team and gain eternal life in Christ Jesus as Lord, go here!)

Parents, watch for left-wing indoctrination on networks like Nickelodeon.

I've commented elsewhere about the collusion between the Obama's and Nickelodeon. I thought it was blatant that they were playing on Taylor's popularity to further their campaign. I was happy the at the time of the presentation Taylor never called Mrs. Obama by name or title. It wasn't until the interview back stage the she said she was happy to be presented with the award by the first lady and that she admired her for her charitable efforts. There was a shot of the audience after that, just before Justin Beiber was slimmed that showed Mrs. Obama glaring in Taylor's direction. She didn't seem to be happy with Taylor and I think it was because Taylor never said anything about being in support of the Obama's politics. This leads me to believe that the plan mostly backfired on them.
