I wanted to write lots of stuff about Thanksgiving but I am in a hurry this morning!
The first Thanksgiving occurred in Virginia – thanks to Patrick Henry Tea Party:
James River at Berkeley Hundred as documented in the proclamation:
Obama offers no high praises to Almighty God, no reminders of His unique attributes, which naturally lead sinners to repent and seek His forgiveness. The Obama storehouse of soaring rhetoric, inspiration and hope is barren.
Whatever became of sin?
The One who has blessed and sustained us from our beginning reminds us: “Righteousness exalts a nation; but sin is a disgrace to any people.” Proverbs 14:34
You can do your part: All followers of Jesus are able to repent of sin. Daily repentance is critical. I am grateful for all the blessings from the hand of God Almighty bestowed on us: Provision, housing, healthy family, good job, things to do like this blog! The most important thing is salvation and sanctification through Jesus Christ! I urge all my readers to examine themselves, see if they are in the faith (II Corinthians 13:5) and if you are not sure or want to know more about what Jesus can do for you (to be more exact – what He ALREADY did for us) go here!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
