I see in this article in Bloomberg that the President wants to enlist Al Roker and other weather personnel to carry global warming/climate change water to the people.
U.S. President Barack Obama will take the case for acting on climate change to Al Roker and other TV weather personalities, hoping they can help convince the public that the risks of floods and droughts is a reason to curb greenhouse gases.
My answer would be simple if I ran a TV station: NO. Weather personalities are trusted to give the facts without political spin. Global warming and climate change is hardly anything but a political issue. Hence, it needs to stay out of the weather section of my news broadcast.
I could be afraid that the administration could use the renewal of licenses to coerce the TV stations to broadcast globalist climate change nonsense. They probably will. But until that – my advice to the TV stations is to keep politics out of the weather on the news.
